Local concert thing tomorrow, basically in my back yard (its right through our woods), bringing my camera to that
During the month July and August there are literally several fireworks DAILY within the whole country. Usually, fireworks here are not a result of a special event like national day etc. they just meant to enterntain and to keep up some (local) traditionals. And yes, I would say that Japanese fireworks are some of the most great and nice I have ever seen. Btw. where are your semi?
There is a Japanese firework in Düsseldorf every year on "Japan Day" (Düsseldorf has one of the biggest Japanese communities with about 8,000 Japanese living and working there.) And it is amazing to watch every year!
I've been really lazy, but finally i got the time to post some pictures, and quite good ones i would say first, my last time at mugello for the Ducati challenge... first time ever i shot motorcycles.. first second third: fourth the second topic is holyday house a friend of us rents to the turists or groups... it's in the beutiful mountains of tuscany in wonderful nature... And there i manage to picture a FREAKING AWESOMe butterfly... never so one like it before! the mansion: the panorama in front of the mansion: chianina cows around there: nice butterfly (not the awesome one) awesome one (furry and with 2 tails O_O ) same butterfly and lastly, a wide panorama of the place as usual more pictures at fotki.com/soulkarsten. waiting for some comments! PS: anyone ever saw such a butterfly?
Various stuff (all film) from the last two months. this is who I work with (Beards Floral, a floral artist) beer and flowers before my band plays same place LARPing friends. she's fantastic (removing trash from a sculpture) ICP destroys our town's culture. The park. Me and the "motorcycle" (70s Honda trail bike, a Honda Trail CT70) music festival (see first shots) Anything with weird color is Fujichrome T64 cross-processed with C-41 instead of E-6.
It's because garages and the things inside are usually awesome. I just realized the seat isn't on the bike in that shot (I was removing the ignition coil inside the frame) and it looks funny.
Some shots I took last week. http://www.assemblergames.com/images/canon/17.JPG http://www.assemblergames.com/images/canon/20.JPG Warning, 15mp images
I only count about eleven megapixels. Those are fantastic, by the way! I've played with the G10 a million times but never took it out and actually shot anything with it. I shouldn't be surprised how good it is, but then I always am.
I really like this one, the xpro works really well on this image. Did you shoot these with the Canonet? Recently, I bought a Graflex Speed Graphic and I've been shooting a lot of 4x5" Polaroid. Will try to post some if I can get my cheapo scanner to work.
Its because not only of the image. The lighting and the grungy setting add to the feel. <Has been reading his english coursework book.
I've been dabbling in photography for a few years now. I mostly like to shoot architecture and landscapes. Here are a few of my recent shots.
Agreed, awesome shots! Really like the others posted as well, kind of forgot about this thread so not commented on everyone's shots.
Nice pictures everyone makes me want to go out and take some, and karsten I now feel the need to try and find out information on that butterfly !
Yeah, the T64 was in the Canonet. The others were my Elan IIe with a poor 19-35 Tokina (probably the cheapest wide lens ever made) (I found it in the trash at my old job and fixed the mount) on shitty Walgreens 800-speed. My buddy (ex-coworker/manager) has a Graphlex I really want to borrow...
