this game is gonna be pretty slick, the new sonic model i have to admit, im a huge fan of, the animations are awesome! One thing that desperatley needs to be removed though is the ability to restart level on special stages. But yes, bring it on sonic team, i love what i have seen so far!
This seems like the perfect blend of Sonic Adventure Gameplay , advance and the old games. It's looking great.
I really do beg to differ... id put money on this technique getting you to some really interesting places!
Well Sonic 3 did have a double-tap attack of sorts which shared some functionality with the homing attack. I thought it was a neat feature back in the day so it doesn't hurt to bring that back in this better form.
I have heard they shut down partnerNET because of all the leaks, is that true? Maybe this time microsoft can put passwords to projects like this so only sega testers actually test it.
Now theres a schism of sorts in sonic fandom sites, between some fans who dont like the game NOT being developed by ST (big deal...) and admins who are afraid of being buttfucked by segammy's legal reps for posting the leaks on their sites. BTW did anyone saw the bandwagon video? thats some shitty ass gaming right there... Yeah the fire-shield
Zing! Anyways, hyper sonic was awesome, and hyper knuckles IIRC made a similar slam if you climbed a wall.
it's delayed, probably didn't want to compete with his own rival Mario (Galaxy 2) - which by the way is AMAZING on the Wii!
To say Sonic 4 can in anyway compete with Galaxy 2 is akin to compare MGS4 to a DS version of Splinter Cell... One is a full-fledged game, the other is an "episode" which in this case is a gentle way to say its actually a small downloadable game
