  1. ^^This

It's nice and all that people will start developing their own stuff for the 360, but everyone knows that this will surely cause some content leaks

Single boot image is now posted, it does the same thing as the rebooter but it's one single image without the need for multiple flash banks or a mod chip. It's current dash 8955 and it supports HDD install and all that other cool stuff like unsigned xex's.

Dude, it runs dev signed xex's and the console is unlocked to about everything including packages as well as the hard drive being unlocked. I don't know how it can't "even be close to a dev" when its about a debug feature away from being just that.

Well for starters the whole point of a dev is being able to easily debug and deploy your applications. This solution works right now for a hombrew codder by simply trasnfering over his applications and launching them, but alot of people are still looking for debugging features. I wasn't trying to fight just probably pointing out the obvious.

Don't get me wrong this is awesome news

As for PN I'm sure Microsoft has some tricks up their sleeves but at any rate I'm not to worried about PN its not like they feature Beta games or anything. Has anyone looked at the PN marketplace? Its like where developers dump their trash its not like much can come out of it.

I can see the possibility of someone getting this to conect to pnet fairly easily. Xbox live has security checks, pnet doesn't

What will be really amusing is the first time someone with a single NAND system setup attempts to use a recovery disc on the system.

It happened with the original Xbox, it'll happen with the 360.

The only betas of games that hadn't come out were on it a really long time ago. Microsoft knows that people without NDA's have access to it so they stopped uploading all that good and rare stuff. You can get alot of DLC from some companies and arcade games, but thats about it. Also if anything you might find an early arcade game thats about as rare as it gets.

May I just add that nobody buy from divino they will rip you a new asshole. Buy from Homebrew Dev you can find them on cygnos360's website. I saved 20 bucks! So the only part now is figuring out wtf I'm doing once I get it and hope I don't need a disc drive for anything because the board wont recognise any drive I put it into it even with the right keys :-/

ehh personally why even buy cygnos now that you can run it without a chip on an xenons nand? seems cheaper and a hell of alot easier. im just so stoked for some real homebrew.

Message me on AIM we need to talk. Also this shit can go online that isn't good for people. I'm positive they can start banning for it but geeze. Anyway xbrebooter seems simple its like patching a ppf file. I am just going to need help figuring out wtf I am doing through this whole process and once I get it down it should be a walk in the park for anyone else who wants me to do this for them.

Just tried it and it says in order to connect to live an update has to be applied to the console so I didn't do that since I've not removed the resistor yet. But I'll do that later tonight just to test it.

Pnet has security, you just don't know about it.

Wrong. MS still puts up stuff. I love it when people without devs talk about what's on pnet, as if they know.
