You dont have to remove R6T3 but it's reccommened, I was just being lazy, but yeah it doesn't actually install the 8955 dash it just boots to it. I'm a work more on it later tonight I still have to install a cygnos v2 into a falcon later tonight.

Does anyone know if this exploit will boot anything from the hdd? this board won't accept any disc drive I put in. It gets an open tray error and ejects chronically. Not sure whats causing it. It detects the SATA and the power cable to the drive but acts like any drive I try in it is broken. I don't even get the play dvd error.

just run any xex through Xlast make it into an xbl con file and plop it on the hdd, make sure you run the xex through 360gamehack because it needs to be dev sighned for xlast, and decryptred for it to run with the hack,

    cheers, and happy homebrewing

Have you replaced the KV with yours from that console?

Why was it that retail consoles could connect to pnet a couple of years ago? -This explained how that one guy 3 years ago had every single arcade game that had been made.-

I didn't mean betas. I simply ment content that was final but wasn't released. Even sometimes games that got released a long time after-wards.

Also you know I have a dev so why question that?

Good call. I have owned an XeDK before its just that I wasn't sure of a good method of booting XEX's without a disc drive. I think it would be better to run through a LIVE file though. Also aren't the XEX's media locked? Does this 360gamehack remove the media lock?

Yes, it makes it bootable from any media

I doubt alot of people have the loader to try USB media loading

That thing only worked on earlier dev kernels though didn't it? Hasn't it since been patched by microsoft?

That is 100% normal. Any time you take a retail console with NXE and connect it to Live without the Avatar files on the local hard drive you will get the "need to update" message.

Try it. Take any Xenon, Zephyer, Falcon, Opus or Jasper (16MB) and update it to the latest dash. Now, disconnect the hard drive and any memory card. Try to connect to Live.

You'll get the "you must update" message until you get those avatar files on local storage.

If you put it in a proper container file or use a loader.

Assuming you signed up a retail unit sign up for a PartnerNet account, how would said retail unit, from 3 years ago, run any of the dev signed code that it downloaded from PartnerNet?

    Hoax. ;)

Its a very popular title with a very rare development tools built ingame with engine tweaks. Retails can now play it and can now test debug features to the fullest. As far as I know this title was released only with me and I have allotted only a few people to have it. Its very valuable to me and I'm going to share it with you all who are running this exploit.

There was no security at that point. There is now.

Also, all you could do 3 years ago was connect, at least till ms fixed it. Anything downloaded, presuming the marketplace even worked (I was not around during that time, but I've heard about the "connecting to pnet" thing from other reliable people) would not work as the xexs, etc were dev signed.
