You were asked to run XeXloader (not TheLoader). That does not make you important.

Breaking a devkit does not qualify you as having "done this stuff for awhile," considering you took up like 2 pages asking how to install the JTAG hack + LPT cable. I do not need you to provide a resume, I know far too much about you as it is.

That said, I'm not going to fight/flame/argue with you anymore. Hopefully this can go back on topic and you can stop bragging about being a tester.

Wasn't specific enough as to what method it should be ran, I assumed "loads xex from usb" meant it was bootable by the modified kernel. When you said theloader I assumed you meant "The Loader" I am not familiar with the other software you speak of so that is where the confusion came in. Also your C and E are the same... Disc drive is out of the question I can run it from a container file no problem but then that just shoots us back to what we previously discussed. I am setting up the latest revision of the SDK now for Xlast. I will report back when I have everything set up.

So this will make possible to run "things" on an x360; the cygnos needs a pc and the machine to be opened, how does this xbreboot work?

are we going to get a psp-like custom firmware that allows for homebrew without mods or you'll need some thinkering anyway?

 

Well you have to open the console and modify it no matter what. You have to have a pc to flash the on board nand of the console. And basically we have a psp like firmware now with the XBReboot it doesn't need a chip but you do have to do some work. FreeBoot.02 has to have the cygnos v2 or another dual flash mod to get the console to reboot into the hacked kernel. Either way right now retail console run user created code. I now have all of that running off live containers for faster load times, not having to burn to disc, ect.

Oh you mean the devkit I tried to repair that was a pre-xclamped Xenon salvaged from a recycle opperation and had video hardware failure? I hardly see how I broke that as over thousands of people got the RRoD, Devkits are not an exeption to this rule, whoever is feeding you this information is sadly mistaken. awww, too bad i wished to have everything plain and easy like in the psp i'm not using much my 360 since i got a ps3, but i would love to use it as an homebrew/emulators/mediaplayer machine like i did with the old xbox

If you don't currently own a Xbox 360 that hasn't been updated your going to have some trouble finding an exploitable box. Also I assume price is going to go up on these exploitable boxes now so nab one now if your really interested.:nod:

So another test with Marble Blast Ultra downloaded from XBL as a trail on a retail, then I ran it threw yaris converter or whatever and it allowed a connection to live. So arcades from live will work on live, but pnet games sign you out, just an FYI.

Wow your skills must be of an extremely high calibre to be able to bypass the LIVE checks and play online with a modded Xbox360. I guess you have already proved your l33tness by being able to figure out how to use someone elses software though. Everyone knows the secret to being a great hacker is to use prewritten tools to achieve your goals.

Since no one ever had permission to spread or publicly use Theloader, it is great that XexLoader will surpass TheLoader in just 2 days time. I can't wait to see it.

 

Yeah I stated this observation earlier, its hard coded into the games. I wonder how long its going to take microsoft to shut all this down.

 

While I understand your point, I went back re-reading the thread, nobody mentions that either program is supperior to another. Just that one is old, and one is new.

I also find it ironic that your complaining about theft/leaking of software, when one of the uses of the tool is left of software.

Btw Im not arguing about superiority. Just having a dig at ppl who think using a premade hacking tool makes them a hacker or somehow l33t. Well that and the suggestion that XexLoader is going to progress so much in 2 days
