Question does J2D2 connect a wire from 4 mainboard to 7 mainboard? Also I don't have the diode can I work with 330 ohm resistors as opposed to 100?

Um 4 to 7 is connected if u use the first diagrams u can use 330ohm resistors in place of the diodes but you still really need a diode for the lpt port, lpt doesn't require resistors but the diode most of the time is a must.

    1) Yes, connect a short wire.

    2) Stick with what the diagram shows. You need the diodes. You can do without the resistors, but you run the risk of bad reads/writes. Not worth it.

Where did you grab the Loader program from Hawk? It's not on Xbins.

It's not going to be on xbins, it's just basically a test for the new loader they are working on, and I don't have an ETA on when it will come out.

For the SPI interface (NAND flashing hardware) it only depends on the printer port of the PC you're going to use for the flashing. Some motherboards work fine with the wires connected straight to the XBOX, such as my PC with an old Asus A8N (Nforce 4). So you're required to put the diode and the resistors only on some PCs.
In some rare cases it works only without resistors but requires you to put the diode. Again, it all depends on the hardware of your PC printer port.

This one isn't the one entitled TheLoader that everybody gets pissed about this one will be better then that in a couple more days they are progressing rapidly in the development. TheLoader isn't going to be released so it will die and be a what could of been, But the new stuff will takes it's place and do even more then TheLoader ever dreamed of. Just wait a little longer guys, xexloader that I showed in that video was just a proof of concept, and the start of a new project that is being worked on. I don't know an ETA on when the new stuff will come out but it will be worth the wait I'm sure.

I had to add a diode to the lpt port, and not use resistors because with them i kept getting an invalid flash config.

We are working on adding lots of functionality to XeXMenu (from the video), just hold tight until public release.

You don't have your xbox on when reading/writing.

You just need the power supply plugged in. And the light needs to be yellow.

Looks like you should be good to go. Your config is fine so it should work unless you get a bad block or something.

Well if anyone out there has a copy of the old loader, new loader or XeXMenu let me know. There is something I'd like to try with an XDK flash but I don't really feel like wasting DVD media. ;)

I would prefer an original, debug signed version. Not one hacked up for a retail.

    Thanks.
