    I really like the position of those switches, not too sure about the bits of paper though;-). Will a 32X still fit in there?

    No Idea, I don't own one so haven't tried. The switches could quite easily have been placed lower though to add space

    It just reminds me of a Sonic enemy,maybe a Caterkilar or a Sandworm. I think that MD is crying out for a Sonic themed paint job;-)[IMG]

    These are some very impressive mods! I like the Turbo Duo, the Xbox 360 with Jurassic Park-like stripes and of course the now wellknown SEGA-Logo-Master System =)

    @Assembler
    How did you manage to get the Turbo Duo-emblem on the console after the paint job?

    I've seen that before and it's still awesome. Looking at it now, though, I can see one thing that that would make it even better: color. Don't get me wrong, it's friggin sweet as it is, but I think it would be more interesting if you painted it maybe blue or red - it'd look kinda like those special edition Game Gears.

    I think it's best he leaves it alone. It can only get worse.

    You're looking at about 15 coats of clearcoat. All the logos show.
    There's just blue and sparkle stuff in the paint.

    Ooooh mvs.

    I LIKE the Pikachu n64. :p

    As for the Megadrive with switches, probably should have used a slider or rocker switch. less noticable.

    If i modded a genesis 1, I'd put them near the other buttons and switches in the lower left corner.

    I actually like those switches - it reminds me of some of the early kit built computers I played with (& come to think of it, some stuff I've seen in various company labs).

    As awesome as rupert's cut out Sega case is, marshallh's l64 is definately my current favourite. :thumbsup: I do find myself liking ASSEMbler's famicon PS2, too.

    Hey no one said anything about virtual conversions....if I had the talent (hah!) I would convert them......(if I didn't like in a shoe box apartment that is).

    Kudos to the people who have done of these amazing real conversions above...surely there's money to be made in doing some of those stunning conv, even if it's sending them to Nintendo/M$/Sony and asking for a product development job.....

    Anyway.....food for thought:
