I dunno if it's too late, but here's my latest mods: 3/4 made Portable Dreamcast: (Currently runs off gamecube wall adaptor or dvd player battery, case needs to be finished in order to put everything in it, guts are 99% done.) older picture but best quality: And my seemless NES controller for Dreamcast, to play with nesterdc, plug the rumblepack-end of the nes controller into the 2de vmu slot and it works as a controller. I got some fun elevator action sessions playing with it ! Thank you and sorry if I was too late ! -=FamilyGuy=-
After seeing all these beautiful jobs, I really wish I had the tiniest bit of skills that you guys do. But I guess being a girl and with no friends or families who know any of these stuff, it would be harder. That's why I could only collect and play video games but not doing innovative work like you guys.
Damn please don't tell me i'm too late, i'd have loved to put a couple of my pics into the contest. Damn yet again, i just realised this ran in October / November time, i'm a long way out, oh well, please enjoy the pics. First up, one of my many modified xbox consoles, please excuse the dust, after such short time after paint it attracted an unreal ammount of dust, after a couple of weeks and a good bit of polishing, its fine now As simple as the mod looks, it took alot of time and effort to get it all right, if people wish to see the work process, i could post some pics. Another xbox mod (still unfinished to this day, maybe one day i'll complete it) PS yes its abit of a monster. And the last entry i'll post for this time, is my all time original all internally watercooled 360, i'm sure there will be a few here that have seen this before. Cheers everyone. :icon_bigg

Great thread!..,just find it... Here is my modded system, the Sega "Neptune wanna be system"...It doesn't look that great in the outside, but it is good for what it does best.... Genesis/32X compatibility in one.
Thanks guys!.. The first Sega Neptune wanna be system model that I ever made took me around 2 1/2 days to get it done...Since then, and after launching my console modding services site( www.retro-console.com ) I have built a few more for sale with better features such as s-video, A/V's ,Region switches and of course, always with full RGB signals to the 9 mini pin din A/V port connector...Taking me about the same time...Unfortunately due to high demand and over booked, I haven't been able to take any more orders on it....But there are a few at least built me out there... It doesn't require much to build one, a good Genesis system,a 32X system, steady hand and the hardest of all, patience, a lot of patience...something I'm still not very good at....
your Neptune is really awesome. I remember seeing posted somewhere awhile ago when you first made it. I know it would be difficult, but have you thought about modding a case so it actually looks like a Neptune? That would be very kick ass. Btw as it's now way past october, and the contest is over. Is this thread now open just to post pictures of your modded consoles in?
