one of my only crappy mod... the mod itself is inside - I've overclocked it... thought of putting the LED inside but realised it's not me~ -__-;;
I have a black M2 dev unit that I gutted out and inserted a dreamcast mobo and drive unit. Powers up but shorts out.... Will post pictures when I can... I also turned a Halcyon laserdisc system into a DVD player and chucked the original components. Now that's a mod . Just lies. Anyway, there are a lot of nice mods here.
I had a NOAC (nintendo on a chip) that i cut down, carefully re-wired and then stuck into a stock dvd case......looked pretty f%$^$^ up.... .....then i accidently plugged the wrong ac cord into it.........and well lets leave it at that......
I m very tempted to purchase another 64DD and paint it pearl-white, along with a matching N64 deck. O_O
Thanks :icon_bigg The PAL/NTSC switch mod is very tricky and it requires a sacrifice of either a PAL or NTSC n64 for its security chip. This topic has basically all the info for the mod: http://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php?topic=1180.0 There is also an easier region mod but that only works for ~80% of the games: http://www.project-casemod.de/modules/articles/article.php?id=32
I must agree that that N64 really looks awesome!! The switch looks very nice, but I also love the color. I guess I´ll go and try to make one of those switches too.
