Oven baked 360 mmmmmmmmmm

Over 4 Weeks ago, I think I give a little update!

Unit is still running just fine, I altered the casing a little, put it back together and now it has a crazy (natural, passiv) air intake.

Played a couple of games through like ODST, Ballad of gay tony, lost and the damned, a little bit of bad company again... Not much else atm because 99% of the games suck.

I have a hard time getting that box to die once again, the case stays incredible cold if played from HDD. If the DVD drive is active it warms up a bit but other then that it's pretty futile for the heat to build up.

Well, not much else to say really. It works, it works better then it did before and is pretty damn cold. But of course its also loud, but if placed correctly my sound system just anal rapes the fan noise with a nightstick.

 

why dont they use lead solder anymore is it the best

 

Because you cant put lead in a childrens toy, which is how the 360 is viewed.

 

Im bored so thought id update people on me oven baked 360, it's still alive and running well as a jtag I doubt anyone cares to be honest, just thought id share hehee

GET IT REPAIRED PROFESSIONALLY BY THOSE WITH A WORKBENCH, TOOLS, REFLOW STATION AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, EXPERTISE!

Incorrect, it's because of RoHS standards for electronics. (Yes I know this post was made almost 5 years ago)

 

Think i'll have another oven baked 360 today.. treat myself, as you do
