If you check Newsgroups or other warez sites, you can see that since the JailBreak and Groove became available people have already started uploaded their rips and sharing them. Some rips apparently are bad, not sure why exactly. But many of these rips people have downloaded and put on an external HDD or FTPed to their internal HDD and are able to play them just fine. The only need for real media is that the exploit doesn't patch or can't patch some sort of authentication that happens with a real BD-ROM or maybe specifically a real PS3 BD-ROM.

This will please all 37 people across the world who have purchased a 3D telly.

That, or have the dongles manufactured and actually shipped to resellers all ready to go, in total secrecy. And then release it the day after GT5 hits store shelves worldwide. If they'd released it closer to Xmas after all the big titles had been released and actually had the stock ready to ship, the original PSJB team would have made millions.

They made a huge mistake releasing samples before they even got a chance to get final model mold finished. This put set back to getting them made. And led to weeks and weeks of delay. The thing was already overpriced as its been shown before. They should have waited a bit longer and thought of a strategic plan. Plus it would have been nice to see the back up manager 1.1.

Doubt it as backup manager can load games burned onto a dvdr or blueray and apparently it fixes compatibility issues.

Wow a new breakthrough apparently they have made it so you can now run firmware on a USB? Not sure how much it does but people are saving it opens more doors to a custom firmware. Scenes working wonders pretty quick!

Maybe if you are too cheap to insert an original PS3 BD-ROM game. Any Disc will do, you don't need the disc from the game being played off the HDD.

It seems that the PSP will not be getting a port of PSGroove afterall. Technical issues apparently make it not practical.

Rumor has it that this firmware update also includes Netflix on the XMB.

Be ready for some new "security patches" as well.

While support for Blu-ray 3D discs is the primary new feature within the 3.50 update, there will be a few additional features.

A Snes9x port has been released, for a first release it works pretty well. All games I've tried works at full speed with some minor sound stuttering.

Sadly I think it's compiled with the official SDK so I think it's not legal to distribute it.

Sounds cool that SNES9X is ported. I hope that the PS3 gets the support and high quality emulator ports that the Xbox 1 got. SNES9X certainly should run full speed. The PS3 is plenty fast for SNES9X. I haven't gotten my board for PSGroove yet but I look forward to seeing the homebrew like SNES9X and nulldc.

I'm hoping this pans out. It would be cool to play my PSP games with a dual analog without having a PSPGO As well as having it on a tv full screen.

I'd really like to have this even though I already have 2 psp's.

That video is fake, the guy just edited the sfo of a PS3 game and swapped the intro video with some footage of GTA.

Interesting work he's done there. For people who don't want to access YouTube, it appears GamerSuper has been able to adapt the PSP mini Emulator to run GTA: Chinatown Wars. Whilst he hasn't got any sound (due to a one-off mistake, according to his voice-over) and the button layout is a bit messed up, it is playable. Frame-rate's pretty good, and it seems to work as expected. All in all, a good start.

It doesn't surprise me that PSP games aren't released on the PS3 (as AngelWolf pointed out, it would canabalise an already shaky market for PSP games), but it's a little bit of a shame you can't play your owned PSP games on the big screen. Maybe one day Sony will offer a legal way, but in the meantime, good work!

Check earlier in the video, the file size shows 7+ GB, PSP games are no bigger than 2.5GB.
