unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see if something like this is actually released to deduce whether it be true or not. Unless this person makes another video stating this is fake.

PSP Slim models 2000 and 3000 both support the TV output cable. So this isn't an issue unless you have the fat PSP and would rather whine than upgrade for TV out.

    I disagree.

Sony sells PSP games on the PlayStation Store because of the PSPGo. Was it a success? No. In fact they had to create a "special offer" where you get 10 free game downloads when you buy that.

People buy the PSP or the PSPGo to have portability. I would buy Killzone Liberation, but i don't want a PSP or a PSPGo.

Another video where the same thing is done to make it look like Crysis is running on the PS3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05_8e7uKHZ0

Yeah, but only the XMB scales to Full screen IIRC.

It's still going to be bigger than your PSP screen... I think you're nitpicking and also some TVs can zoom/scale the PSP image to fill most if not the whole screen for you.

Quiet you. I was too lazy to look up how big UMDs are. :p

Completely forgot there were TV out cables for the later models. My bad. If that's the case, then it's just for those too scabby to buy a PSP. :p

Good point that, and combined with GrapefruitMan's found footage of the R.U.S.E. hack, maybe there is something a bit less 'awesome' and a lot more 'fraud' about this. Time will tell.

One interesting thing about the R.U.S.E. hack is that the file size is much smaller than 7GB: in fact, more like in the realms of UMD size. (EDIT: In the English version - http://youtu.be/QI3R2Q0S3sU - it shows quite clearly at 30secs that the Crysis fake is 1.5GB in size).

I got my Xbox 360 Spi Flasher thing today. Very easily was able to put PSGroove on it. Tried out SNES9X. Pretty cool, can't wait to see more homebrew and emulator ports. Haven't tried the Backup Manager.

SNES9x is amazing. Damn near 100% speed, sound seems great to me. Tried mario kart, SMW, and mega man X. No saving yet though.

I just got my teensy today and I've been staring at my ps3/computer, wide-eyed, at the amount of things I can do ALREADY. I can't wait to see what we will be able to do in the future.

One thing I find most interesting is that now that games can be ripped and their contents can be examined and extracted, trophy-only content can be obtained instantly. The main example I'm thinking of is FF13. You get themes for certain achievements. However, there is one theme that requires ALL achievements, which is completely rediculous for those of use over the age of 14 who have jobs and families. Now, I can just extract the theme, and viola, im done.

So, I know with the jailbreak I can do things like run emulator and unlock achievements (in the case of FF13 - that's great). But can I just run my PS3 normally without the usb dongle?

Yep. But if you update, you lose the ability to use it.

well, its not the achievements you unlock, per say, but circumventing them for the rewards (if theyre some type of theme or something to do with the xmb)

so far, the only emu, thats released, that I know of is snes9x.

if by "run it normally", you mean do anything you could normally do that doesn't involve connecting to the PSN or updating the console, then yes you can.
