I am not so sure you could, most of your posts seem to incorrectly assume things and not seen anything of this level from you.

Also, even if you could - saying it to Haunted isnt exactly going to get you on the list - hes quite paranoid about someone cloning it. So you just shot yourself in the foot for no reason.

Instead of making pointless posts like that, why not just make a video proving that Twimfy's suspicions are wrong? I too would really like the PSIO to be genuine (every retro console should have a device to play it's games from SD card or hard drive etc), and I'd love to see an up to date video showing how far it has progressed, so please upload a new video showing beyond doubt that the PSIO exists and does what you claim.

 

Considering people are donating money - regular videos updates and important questions answered should be number 1 priority.
The only reason people are doubting the project is because nothing concrete has been shown or explained in the detail needed.
Hire someone to whack out content regularly - answer as many questions possible - constantly update on progress of the project. This will help you gain a much bigger audience, convince more people that it is indeed genuine, and bring in more donations to help the progression of PSIO move forward quicker.

Anyway I'll record some high quality video and show all the plugs and connectors, might even crack out some new effects like star wipe if you are lucky! :friendly_wink:

As a side note I picked up an SCPH-1002 today also, now I've got a good chunk of units to test on (6 or 7 varying PAL models).
Will I be able to wire the PSIO up to one of the micro-sized PSone units or will that be on a later revision feature?

 

That's all very well but seeing as some of us aren't even convinced you're going to receive anything it doesn't really help.

Anyway just chimed back in to say cybdyn sent me a PM saying: "Twimfy, why youcant just ask me send video to you , or maybe you got Skype , i can show you in real by web cam."

I'm making my response public...if you're prepared to show me, show everyone else too.

At place of cybdyn I'd start creating blacklist of people, who will never get device, just to teach a lesson.

Hey, I don't know what the deal is with that Shad0w/Haunted/whatever guy, I don't know him and I don't give a damn about his story here.
This is all about PSIO, if you don't trust cybdyn, just wait few weeks for guys who "risks" to report back to you, but I don't see a point in crying here for stupid videos with stupid requirements like light, PSX with no disc, wire from gamepad to psx, etc. This doesn't help. Don't wanna to buy/request/etc - *offensive comment*.

But I don't think it will come to that. Just give it a month, set your alarm clocks and mark your calendars and come visit then.
We'll expect smiles on your dials though, negativity is not a requirement and just turns up more of these faces...

It's your choice, of course, but it would be both friendlier and more productive if you created a video that showed the PSIO worked, and made the video available to all. If I were clever enough to have made a device like the PSIO then I would certainly do so, not only to publicise the device, but also to satisfy the curiosity of everyone interested in such a device.

I don't use Skype personally, and if I did I certainly wouldn't give my address out to a potential scammer. I am NOT saying you are a scammer, but I've seen nothing to prove otherwise, and from your own words it seems unlikely you'll be taking the twenty minutes or so to make a video proving that the PSIO works, despite the fact that there's no good reason not to, and every good reason to do so.

 

Ok, so this thread is sort of a hot topic so i keep my ideas for myself. Bad_ad, you might be right for some parts, but i dont plan on cloning. Just my own full opensource version. But nvr mind.

Not swearing per se, but needlessly insulting, degrading and making accusations with no basis in order to feed your own ego. It's the same thing in slightly more sophisticated form, and still as repulsive.
