Yeah, this one is definitely pre-rendered, I think Fandangos means demo mode where characters shows some exercises, this video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fq9FNtCn6k starting from 00:12.

But to be honest I don't think PSIO will have some gameplay problems. There may be issues with loader, data timings and CDDA / CDXA streaming. So I believe if game will boot - 95% it'll work as expected.

i tested - mgs not far. tekken3. chrono trigger. but there are games that can freeze on cdxa movie.

next not solved problem - Libcrypt. it can be solved but i think something like patch or using CCD (clone cd) for subchannel data.

i dont think 3d-fmv is synchronized from cd - so it's not problem. but i can be wrong.

Maybe add one of the libcrypt protected games, just for fun :D
(Medievil, Medievil 2, SoulReaver, Ape Escape...)

So let's be realistic here. This is never going to be a perfect emulation of the disc drive then? - We won't get 100% compatibility with most games and will get quite a lot of crashes and non working audio or fmv.

It's good but it's not what people expected (myself, anyway). I was under the impression PSIO would be pretty much as perfect as running off a backup disc. It's not looking like it at the moment.
PS2 HDLoader suffers from these kind of issues. The main reason I never really bothered to use it. I thought PSIO was a completely different ball game :/

PS2 HDLoader is very different - it's software-only solution, these things can't ever be perfect. Same is for PS3 backup managers and game mount syscalls - compatibility suffers.
PSIO is hardware, which is capable to support libcrypt-based games, we just need to have PSIO software support for this, which is WIP. Think about PSIO as WiiKey Fusion for WII, or as Cobra ODE for PS3, cybdyn, correct me if I am wrong.

Never had a problem with any games I've thrown at openps2loader, which maybe the exception of Gun which would lock up randomly.

You're selling it short as it works really well. I've played (and finished) many games using HDLoader and unless it's a show stopper (such as Kingdom Hearts 2 with the Gummy ship) I've rarely seen any bugs associated with HDLoader itself.

Yeah I have to agree, the benefits far outweigh the shortcomings. Draw distances in GTA were improved (or at least appeared so), games load *a lot* faster, no more swapping around memory cards, just use the hard disc to store them etc etc.

Will certainly plonk this in - Who knows maybe the software will be better soon? Go Cybdyn! :topsy_turvy:

Anything for a man who cannot leave his chair!

    Added!

    Added as well!

That's it, a big top 11-ish games to do. If any completely flop or fail to load I'll try another random game.

    You're in Belarus, I think?

According to the HK post website the delivery time is 4-6 days to Minsk, and 6-8 days to the rest of the country using Speedpost (which was the method I used to post stuff to Moscow)

Not cheap, though - 0.5kg is HKD $458 (about US $60) - likely more than the parts would cost...

Regular airmail is $33.9 HKD (~ US $4.50) - but they don't give any delivery estimates. I can ask the people at the post office if they can give me an estimate.

In any case, can you give me the exact P/Ns that you need? There are quite a lot of MAX IIs and SAM3Us :)
