That's bullshit. MS make some great products. But when somethinbg is used by millions up on millions of people of course some one is going to find a bug. There will never be perfect software and the more people that use something the more bugs are found in it. I hate this MS bashing, people love putting down the mo9st successful company in the word. "Uh yeah, there the biggest and the richest company and there os outsells everyother by around 100;1 but there still shit..."
Yes, Xbox is a great system but ... In the case of Windows, the idea was good but MS decided to bug it to make money (selling upgraded versions). Thats why some people doesn't like Microsoft.

You are joking, right? The Xbox is a complete mess. 4 different suppliers of DVD drives, creating a weird problem: Some games simply don't work, not even booting. Add to that the HD problem. Some were 8Gig, others were 10Gig. The gamestore near by have a tower of Xbox with HD problems, DVD drive problem, ... . One of them has a dead HD, and it was brand new. Sony quality is terrible, no doubts about that, but Microsoft is not far away from the same level.
Yeah, Linux is ass as well - it might not have the security holes of Windows, but you need a PhD to use it properly and it refuses to work with every other mouse, sound card, Ethernet card, and printer, requiring you to write your own drivers or get a better OS. And did I mention the lack of documentation? :angry Give me BeOS any day, despite it suffering from a few of Linux's "we hate diverse hardware!" problems. :smt043
Finaly, yes. only sega rocks :smt023 ! :smt014 :smt043 No os has no bugs but Windows's bugs are not tolerated (because there is +50 programmers during +10 years working on it). Ho, thats just my point of view. I i make a os one day, i'll prefer to make something simple to something complexe & buggy.
Hmm I dunno maybe it's the fact that they charge over $200 for their OS that is required if you want to play games and it's not even that good. Their browsers suck the big one too. Another thing is that most of their products are based on stuff they did not make and have just modified to shit (See Dos, Windows 95,98, 2000, XP). It may be full of bugs but at least it's free and you don't have to worry about all those viri :-D.
Sure "great products" lets see it took them 4 versions of windows 98 before it was finaly working descently with things like usb. Windows 95 took 3 upgrades before it actually worked not to mention windows ME which was such utter crap it was only sold with laptops and only for a few months. Windows XP is the only somewhat descent windows with which i have had no problems, but it's so ludacrisly full of bugs that a 1st gen version of windows xp can be connected to the web for less then 20 minutes before the first virusses,hacks etc. are on the system, even with the lastest version of windows xp you can buy from the store you need 20+ updates already. So don't go on about great products, their descent at best but not great by a long shot. And the thing i hate most about M$ is the fact they make a profit of more then 85% on every product they sell it's just rediculous. But this is all off topic we were discussing the PS2's new small model which i due in a few weeks time.

There's so many fails in it , so many troubles , so many trackers, lies and things that have been stolen and copied from other ideas. Just , as exemple; IE . IE was totaly copied from an old websurfing program from netscape. Microssoft totaly stolen the idea and a part of code of it Netscape webbrowser died because of microsoft... and netscape was invented. The only reason why microsoft sell in the 100:1 proportion is because of marketing , and its only why. Windows code are crap and filled with bugs or trackers resulting in a unstable OS... Marketing is the word, its not because of quality , not at all. Microsoft used illegal marketing (ANTITRUST) to be on the first step , destroying little compagnies with better ideas or better programs , literaly stoling things,... Microsoft whant to conquer everything and they are trying to do this only with the power of marketing and illegal things. Those PSX colors are fugly specially the yellow one, the one with the imac color scheme is cool though. Yeah Workbench was really good, its still developed.
that appears to be actuall size. By siperimposing the controller over the console it goes all the way from the left edge to the little red PS logo closer to the right side. That begs the question: what. no HDD support? Or will an external HDD come out?
I've been forced to share my PlayStation2 access for quite a while, and hopefully when I move out next year I'll be getting my own - the decision has now been made, as this new design looks infinitely better in my opinion. Plus, there's always a chance that I may actually have the space to put it somewhere... not as if Microsoft have any chance of producing a similarly condensed version of the Xbox!!

Don't use them then. Let see how you get on with Linux, Beos etc. Like I said, more popular it is them more people will try to hackit/find bugs in it. I see you fail to mention an OS that is better than Windows...
