Yah I'm curious about this as well. I got in on the pre order super late because I was waiting on a payment.

The save files, the ones for regular game saves, are transferable between all flash carts and copiers. You could take a game you were playing on the PowerPAK and take that save file to the EverDrive or SD2SNES or any other combination. They are just file data. None have any strange format of storing it.

So, if I were to pre-order this, would I receive a SD2SNES before SuperFX was added to it? (And the other chips?)

You are confused. The SD2SNES does not use the actual chips, it emulates them. If/when SuperFX support is added it would just be a firmware upgrade, which you can do yourself.

Would I be able to play the Starfox 2 ROM on the sd2snes?

 

Once FX support is added, there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

I was 6882 but I have to assume some of the people in between us were buying stuff other than sd2snes.

 

I was 6878 - took the ultra purple universal shell. Looks like SAG sold out already too, that was fast. In less than 10 minutes -- glad I got mine.

 

I ordered mine too and I'm also in the 6850's.
Just received my Mega EverDrive yesterday and now I have the SD2SNES pre-ordered.

Same here, Ultra Purple, Universal, and the 16gb, as the Class 10 will help out a bit.
