Stoneage Gamer count me in to help out The turbo duo is really expensive, I'm trying to manage my money to get all the new everdrives + sd2snes + a turbo duo, since it's one of the few systems that I care and that I miss in my collection.
You think just some wiki software would be good? I own the everdrive.us domain that I could put it up on. I won't have a lot of time to help manage stuff so that's why I would need some people to keep information up-to-date.
Why not use a CMS something like "E107" as a full portal, as in having a: Front page (News and releases) Forum (Discussion) Wiki section (Information Database) Considering how easily E107 is to setup you can probably have something rocksolid and functional within a day ,and have custom pages(F.A.Q,Model Info,Links to every ones web stores) within minutes of it being up. Ive done a few its extremely easy
no, currently not possible, but probably i will open preorder, once i will build first working sample
Get a PCE Duo. Figure that as soon as the HuCard ED is released, you wouldn't have to worry about region coding. Besides, it's really not that hard to region mod one; I've already done my TG-16 and PCE Duo with self-made modchips. In fact, you get a region mod board from BlueBMW at PCEngineFX.com (I think he may still be making them). Awesome news about the sd2snes. I will be picking one up as soon as a decent supply is available...or if I can get in fast enough on the ground floor.
Cool thats good to see that i thought you were only going to stick on this thing because $200 for this is way to much money for my blood well i can still try to get your snes everdrive then thanks for geting back to me on this
If it really does support all normal SNES mappers, Super Gameboy & BS-X straight from the box it would be the best cart ever probably even better than the Mega Everdrive even. If they both reach the UK reseller Warner's I may give this a buy. Yeah, decided it's best to wait until they hit the UK Warner's Store for either of them because then I won't get any stupid on the spot extra charges I don't want because that extra £20 is better in my own pocket than customs.
ikari never said anything about it supporting "all SNES mappers" or "Super Gameboy". Atleast I certainly never heard anything about Super Gameboy support, plus SGB's are dirt cheap. We don't know that any chips other than those already supported will ever be added. Super FX was said to be a possibility. I have doubts that it will ever fully support SA-1, but I'd like to see that done.
It's impressive enough that it supports the amount of custom chips that it does (without having to canibalise carts, too). It should even support the 96 Mbit hack (decrypted) version of Star Ocean, too.
