Is Sega finally learning how to make their fans happy and actually make money on the process? Looks like it!
Also, as much as it saddens me because they're my favorite PS3 exclusives, Yakuza 3 and 4 sold like shit. They won't be making money off a three-year-old game that's part of a franchise the general public doesn't care about and released on a console at the end of its lifespan.
Yes, PAL PS1 games do unfortunately run at 50 Hz. Not sure what your Ridge Racer question is about, since refresh rate is obviously not an issue when it comes to handhelds.
Depends, there is a few imports on PSN (RE2 and RE3 come to mind). but for the most part everything is 50hz sadly I just made a US account and got all of my classics from there instead, 60hz and a better choice of games
Thanks for the answers. I discovered that even though Crash Bandicoot PAL games are 50hz, they run on slightly higher resolution and were optimized by NaughtyDog. Don't know if that's true for Tekken 2 and Wipeout though. Will have to keep looking. I also have a US account but the US versions of Crash Bandicoot doesn't work on the Vita. As for Ridge Racer PSP, i read it's 60fps so it's a complete must purchase.
That's probably why it's not getting a physical release. It's unfortunate, since the game will be impossible to get in a few years.
Yeah, No Physical release is abit of a bummer but i'll take digital over nothing. I had virtually given up hope of it ever being localised http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=142109689&postcount=689 If that list is anything to go by it looks like Yakuza 0 might be getting a western release too
I'm checking twitter feeds and googling pre-order info like crazy. Seriously UK better have them for sale not just some competition.
Possibly so. I've been reading on CAG and the gaf that some have had cancellations already. Not getting my hopes too high til I see shipping confirmation. Thank you! I sooooooooooo can't wait to get it.
Thought this would of been a physical sale. No news for the system being on sale here in Australia either. Only a competition to win one.
Japan's going one better: you have to enter a contest to the chance to win the ability of pay for one! Either way, I've entered, I don't have a ps4, this new color is quite sexy and its limited edition model related to the original PS. Do want!
Bit of a pain if you don't live in London. Even more annoying is the fact that I'm going to be there as of next Monday.
Why start telling a joke and then leave out the punchline? Those 20th anniversary PS4 consoles that were sold in London earlier today were only available in strictly limited numbers (94, for some reason) in a specially decked-out store at Bethnal Green filled with vintage PlayStation memorabilia provided by Sony employees and private collectors. However, best of all was the appearance of a few well known faces behind the counter and the requirements needed to gain access - an item relating to the PS1 and knowing a password, which I've heard was: "My bandicoot has crashed." Of course, this being a high profile Sony promotion, they didn't just stop there. All proceeds went to GamesAid, with every system selling for only £19.94! The store will remain open across the next two days and there are another 50 opportunities to secure this commemorative machine each day, though at full retail price and on a strictly first-come-first-served basis. If I had known in advance then I would have been there, and I suspect those bargain units will be showing up for massively inflated figures on eBay very soon, assuming they haven't already... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...iversary-edition-consoles-for-just-19-94-each P.S. All machines reserved for the next two days have now sold out, but it's being hinted there may be more available online in the near future at £399.
Sony, stop being mean with all these Crash Bandicoot references! Buy the IP and make another game! Also, make the 20th anniversary controller available worldwide.
