    It's great - but I'd pay my iphone 2$ to grow a D-pad and a button.

Speaking of that, does anyone know how successful the xperia play was?

Just saying 'cause theres a lot of bitching everywhere regarding touchscreen controls, but I have seen very few of those phones around and its the only one with actual buttons and a dpad

It sold like balls because everyone wants an iPhone and Angry Birds.

Yes on angry birds, but ppl no longer buy iphones, not the majority at least

Android is to phones what Windows is to PCs now...

    EDIT: Now down to 26'57'30

Finding it so hard to shave off any more seconds. Easy as pie on hardware. Using the iOS virtual pad is making it really difficult.

I'm playing on the 360. I have it on the iPhone too but virtual pads are not as good as the real deal so I don't bother with it.

Xperia is the reason sega pulled the android version of sonic cd at the last minute to add controls for the xperia :( it will probably only be done sometime in Jan (I posted a link earlyer)

As for the phone it self, I would rather wait for the first Tegra 3 powered handsets, sometime in April :), Tegra is a monster and one of the features its supporting along with Android 4.0 is better bluetooth controller support :flamethrower:

Back to regular Sega business decisions: "Hey, let's delay this game, costing us tons of potential sales because people will have forgotten about it in by the time we release it, to add support for a phone nobody bought!"

    Um, yeah...

Whats funny is that most of the "new" iphone users come from crackberry which is way too crappy, but new android users? theres a lot of former iphone fans there too

    Check: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26rwWqFSliE

Everytime I'm holding an ipad I feel like I'm using one of those weird macs from the 90s with the POS pre-X OS that was miles behind anything else on the market, except this time people think apple products are cool so they dont point at you and laugh like before

My problem with apple? you are not paying for specs, the 3GS its obsolete and the 4S its a lowend phone now, and you are not paying for quality either their products keep coming with all kinds of defects.

So what am I paying for? branding?

Yeah its pretty dope, but its headed for tablets, big ones not even the actually-portable 7inch ones.

The only phone I heard thats coming with a quadcore is that crazy meizu phone in china which keeps getting delayed, and still its going to be like $700, and not even a tegra3 from what I heard.

I have to say that I'm done with iPhone too. I'll keep the handset for apps and emulation (basically a handheld 16 bit dream machine with joypad!) but for me the iPhone is just too closed and now dated with it's small screen, same interface as the original iPhone and a load of shit when connecting to WiFi. I mean, the amount of times my bloody phone has asked me to enter my own WiFi password because it "forgets" is really annoying.

I've been thinking about getting the iControlpad or whatever it's called for my HTC Desire, it's pretty expensive, but playing all those emulators would be awesome...

I ordered mine about 2 weeks back but there is a delay on them so it won't get shipped until early January :( Still looking forward to it though. If you get one, make sure it's the model with the clamps.

Not really. Here in Japan the iPhone is selling like hotcakes now.

Lol the anti-Apple talks seem to be leaking into all of the threads at the minute.

Meh whatever makes you happy I guess, who cares about sales figures and what other people think. I love my iPhone.

Anyway finally got my time attack score under 25 minutes but there are still two unlockables left. Anyone know what I have to do to get them?

What? even under 25 minutes you still don't get the other unlockables? oh man, this is going to be a tough one to fully open.

25% is not nothing (pardon the double negative), especially considering that Apple only makes 3 phones, whereas there are tons of Android phones.

As I've stated before, I buy Apple products for the software more than anything else. I like Apple software so much that I installed Lion on my PC. :D

That unlocks visual mode. I have a feeling the rest are down to either finishing the game with all time stones or getting under a certain time in the special stage time attack.

I haven't gone for a complete Sonic CD run since about 1998 so having a hard time remembering what's what and Gamefaqs etc aren't that helpful.

Visual mode unlocks with a time faster than 30 minutes I think. I have that unlocked on mine and I'm still at 27 minutes.

By the way, do you know where the sighn post is that you are ment to pass on stage 2-2?
