I had to register just to say that looks absolutely amazing. Can't wait till it's ready for purchase. I would mod so many front loaders with it along with the NESRGB boards.

Possible in 3-4 weeks as we are waiting on our final prototype boards and making some final adjustments to some dimensions.

I'm chasing down suppliers of the cable end of the Multi-Out, to make up custom cables, so give me a yell if anyone wants a few and we can do a large order to save on cost.

I'd be interested in this. I'd like to make a breakout box to test my wiring of the multi out ports. I can test everything but s-video because my "s-vide cables" are actually wired to composite.

I have 20 on order and need to know how many are interested and also if they want the regular PCB with the pin headers or if they want the AV mod board. The AV mod board is basically the mod that is in the forums but is part of the socket PCB for those people without the NESRGB and want to have better video quality than RF. The AV board is on its way to be tested by BuffaloWing to make sure it's on the up and up and once it's got the green light I will offer that as part of a kit for those interested.

I'm definitely interested in a regular pcb with pin headers (gonna use it in conjunction with a nesrgb), and I'll buy one the moment they're available.

Ok I can safely assume that most people will want the regular PCB with the socket so I will have a small batch of the AV boards just in case, but it seems the NESRGB people are the ones interested in this more than someone wanting to do the AV mod.

I might be interested in a mix of both. I'm just beginning to start doing NESRGB installs for people and I still get people who want me to do AV mods, so having both on hand would be great.

Ok thats good to know but I wont offer anything until BuffaloWing gets to test the AV mod out for me, and it does or should have the jailbar issue that plaugues the current AV mod since that is what I based it off of. Shielding the PPU should reduce the jailbars if you or anyone decides to go that route.

Hah nice. I see what you did there.

I'm really anxious to pick some of these up. But there are more options than I ever thought there'd be (not a bad thing). I already have SNES RGB cables, so the advantage of the cheaper and available first party Wii RGB cables doesn't matter as much to me, at least at the moment. I'll probably end up getting at least one of each. I already modded my top loader with a socket pulled from an SNES, but it never hurts to have spares, and I might end up replacing it with one of these, as they look much nicer than my hack job.

I'm not sure how popular the multi out with the av mod built into it will be. To me, if you only want the composite out, having the yellow white and red rca jacks makes more sense. Unless you want it to look more stock. Or I suppose it would be a good stop gap if you plan on RGB modding it in the future. Then you've already got the multi out and you'd just have to bypass the av mod circuitry.

Also, I just want to say how awesome it is to see this project moving along as quickly as it is. I've seen so many potentially amazing projects never move past planning or discussion. Not only is this one moving right along but it seems to get better and better over time.
