Stupid lost - Spoiler alert in later posts!

FUCKING CUNTS. Flashforward yesterday was really good! Only for me to notice today they have cancelled the series.

Apparently they are said to have filmed two series finales knowing it might not be picked up but that still sucks. Plus i wanna watch both. OMG i hate this!

 

Anyone else think last weeks episode of Lost was a complete waste of time?

Mate of mine thought it was good, but I was gnawing at my wrist, trying to end my life.

 

Well, I didn't expect that episode at all, it took me by surprise. It wasn't so bad actually, but I'd prefered something else, anyway we'll have lots to see this next Sunday, like 5 and a half hours of LOST, lol.

2 hours recap special, 2 and a half hours final episode, 1 hour Jimmy Kimmel special tribute show.

Yeah, just thinking they have jumped the shark now, trying to explain too much in too little time. I don't think last weeks episode added anything that I couldn't have lived without.

 

I still think it could go either way as to who is the real villian is or if there really is one.

That said I will be so pissed though if at the end all it comes down to is Jack and Sawyer swapping places with Jacob and the MiB.

 

Well, I'm enjoying Lost so far... I thought the last episode (The Candidate) was okay but I'm still a bit miffed that weren't some sort of Incas or Aztecs or some shit like that behind it all

It looks like it's just some American woman with two American kids who are behind it all. I mean, who built that massive statue where Jacob was hiding out? She did? Jacob did? His brother/black smoke thing did? I dunnno - but I agree on one point, they could do with Jack Bauer coming along in the last episide, make him go dark, and just shoot the shit out of everyone - that WOULD be a great finale!

I started watching V and Flashforward but stopped as soon as 24 and Lost started - I should go back to them when they both stop (Is Lost really going to finish in the next 3 eps? - I always assumed it would be 24 eps?) Also, I knew Flashforward was in trouble but I didn't know it was being canned - oh well - that one had potential... but maybe it's actually better this way, I mean, they couldn't really drag it out for more than one season anyway, right? As much I enjoy Flashforward, the one thing that got me was the lead actor (something...) Fiennes (or however ya spell it!) - he just seems to overact so much, everything he does/says sounds like he's constipated... it was okay at first but by episode 5 or 6 the dude's just cardboard - no depth - no range.

 

I was confused at the start as they were flitting between Spanish, Latin and English (with a really strong American accent) and nobody seemed to care about it. Why would Jacob/Smoke's mother know English? why did the fake mother know English and know the real mother could also speak it? complete plot-hole-arama.

The only thing I got from the episode was where the smoke monster came from, but it was the cheesiest piece of shit imaginable, even the actors didn't seem like they could muster any enthusiasm for the terrible script on this episode.

 

I never got into V or Flashforward but I am enjoying the hell out of Fringe.

 

I go to a Lost circle jerk at a friend's place as he has the biggest screen. When it was over, he just giggled and said, "That was the worst hour of television I've ever seen".

WOW... they cancelled Flash Forward? Shit.

 

I know. I mean its not amazing but with LOST gone what are we going to watch? Only V left now. They also canned Heros so i dont think ill watch it as it will have no ending.

 

The last episode of Lost was so dumb. I spent most of it laughing at ludicrous it had all become. I'm finding this season entertaining and I'm quite enjoying but I can't take it seriously for a second!

Talking about series that got canned (like someone said Flashforward had) - anyone watch Jericho? Always made me laugh at how slow moving it was then when it got canned, they concluded EVERYTHING in the last episode - from nothing happening SHIT LOADS happened in a stupid space of time. Made me giggle!

 

Tonight's episode was SAVAGE.

 

Does that mean it was good?

It wasn't too bad. I really cringed when Jacob was going on about finally answering everything, and then when he's going to start he says "I don't even know where to begin." Then everybody proceeds to get him to again reiterate that the island must be protected from the monster. But no one again thinks to ask what IS the monster, where does it come from, what happens if it accomplishes what it wants to.

But when Zoey died I thought "Finally!" So at least there's one less stall for the finale.

 

I REALLY didn't want Jack to drink the water.

I want them to end the series with a huge battle with the monster and everyone to leave the island and live happily ever after.

I also want Jin and Sun to come back. That was horrible... Worse than seeing Charlie go in my opinion. All the crap they went through only to go out the way they did... I still don't see what the point is.

They were pretty much the only characters I've cared about this season.

 

Even after that stupid hit-a-tree-and-forget-English thing with Sun? Their story was becoming as interesting as the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLT saga :x

 

I was just happy to finally see them togeth- oh they're dead.

 

Theres gonna be so much unanswered shit its not even funny. Like what was the whole Walt thing about... why cant children be born in the island... plus a million more questions that they left to answer later and bore us with pointless episodes. It wouldn't of been so bad if we found shit out on those old slow episodes.

 

So, I just watched all six seasons in the last 12 days... What the hell did I just watch?

Predictions: Smoke monster gets absorbed into the light just as Desmond blows up the island with a nuke and becomes the next Jacob (Jack is a red herring). Alternate reality never gets explained.

 

So Heroes didn't get picked up for Season 5? I actually thought 4 picked up a bit even though I've not finished it.

 

I told Phantasy Star I'd take him to dinner if he could watch the finale the same time I did (w/ all episodes in sequence). He started on about the 8th of the month.... I think he's at the end of SEason 3. I tip my hat to you.
