man, you got some time on your hands. i watched every season starting around the middle of December and finished the last episode right before the premiere on Feb. 2.

i'm so glad i didn't have to watch this over the course of like 5 or 6 years or whatever.

Yeah, lost interest in Heroes for just that reason. Convoluted plots don't do well when you have several months between episodes.

Guess I'm not alone here, when I started Lost I knew full well I was going to kill time with it. I lost track of how long it took, but I went all the way through to Season 6 in a week and couple days or so. When you have all episodes like that one after the other to watch you don't mind TOO much that a lot of unresolved and not too interesting side plots keep developing, but now having to have watched the majority of Season 6 a week at a time, i can see how this show can piss people off too much.

I pity those who actually waited week after week, and then a few months for it to start all over again :p

I'm one of the suckers. The week to week cliff hangers werent' that bad. It was the season finale's that were just nails in my cock.

I just watched episode #16 and it answered almost none of the questions I still have. How come that Desmond is Mr. I-know-it-all anyway? In the new 2004, he seems like a timetraveller who knows exactly what to do in order to put things straight again. I just don't really remember when they delivered an explanation for his confident behavior, he behaves like Richard before he went crazy.

I also doubt that we're ever going to know who actually build the statue and the temple. The people on the island from 2000yrs ago didn't, so who was it? And how did they know about a smoke monster (->underground dungeon near the "Temple") even though there was none until 2000yrs ago? Maybe there has been another one, even before the MiB?

Rewatch "Happily Ever After". I believe it's 13. It's explained somewhat outright.

    Probably not.

So the series comes to a final 3 hour closure tonight. End of an era some might say. Since most tv shows these days get canned before they can finish I'm glad Lost will finally be coming to a close. Whos going to watch the UK time of 5 in the morning? I've got it down to be taped on V+

It works out pretty nicely for me over here. I watch it kind of late night, after a couple of other friends are off work. Of course it's Monday & not Sunday, but oh, well.

    Good gravy, that was terrible.

Hey, we just wasted your time with most of what was going on here! ::middle finger::

I thought for the most part they wrapped it up nicely. I think over time the show will go down as a strong show that had its share of flaws and plot holes.

I still side with the Man in Black.

I can't really think of a better ending. I'm just glad it wasn't a total bust. It was a MILLION times better than say, The Sopranos or Seinfeld in my opinion. But not as good as Bob Newhart. :)

I've never seen the ending of Newhart, but didn't watch it that much. I thought it was a good ending... unexpected, like with Lost, but not too much of a "gotcha". I am curious as to the adventures of Hurley, Ben, and Desmond though. Desmond was always the most interesting character to me, and I thought the guy deserved a happy ending. He just seemed to get screwed all the time.

Anyways, I'll probably watch the 6th season again just to soak it up and, very likely be done with it.

The final episode was big for me. It was the deciding factor of whether or not I would buy the complete series or not. I think it could be something cool for my kids to watch 10 years from now or something.

"See this show kids, you'll never seen anything like it." lol

    Woah, it's OVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dannnngggg..... The Jimmy Kimmel show after the final episode was really great! It gave it a great closing, and the online video with the Q&A was fun!

I'm gonna miss it! Even though the show went nuts near the end, they managed to give a nice (and a bit sad) ending. Should get myself a blu-ray player and the whole set on Blu-Ray when it comes out, it's supposed to come with tons of explanations about lots of stuff.

    Namasté!

Problem is I already own 2 of the 3 season on BR. If they have extra stuff for season 1-5 I'll rank ABC about as evil as Lucasfilm.
