That probably has to do with Bishi Bashi Champ 3 pops code leak... :victorious:

Actually it works through "fear level". They figure out you're putting SONY stuff through scanning your files, then they make dictionaries with the hashes of portions of the files then finally they nuke them all.

They're bastard enough to then make a screen with the countdown and idiotic MMOG ADs that give them money. When the countdown ends it shows an broken English message stating that the content was deleted due to copyright claim or deleted by the uploader.

So indeed as SP193 say it could even not be any request from SONY but Mediafire noticed that your files suddenly got popular. :encouragement:

Shitty host is shitty and Mediafire sucks anyway.

    Edit:

I had music copyright claims from Japan Victor on some content I had at my Youtube account (it was some MEGA-CD videos).

I stated the content was unedited and contained the original opening video for the music played and that Victor owned rights for the actual CD version of the songs. The contest was successful and I got to keep my video intact ! :applause:

Hell yeah! How did I miss this thread? Finally laser-less PSX gaming on the PS2, now I'm disconsidering jailbreaking my PS3. I'll keep an eye on this very thread.

Anyone tried this with games with multiple discs such as Metal Gear Solid? I'm wondering how it transitions from disc 1 to disc 2.

    Yes.
Busy with DVD Player stuff ATM, but I should mod my container with something like disc%d for both trigger disc and custom dump paths, duplicate the trigger disc as disc1, see if both trigger disc and custom dump path variables are crosslinked, and if so, take a good look at jokers...

No. He means that it'll lead to full-support for multi-disk games... unless I've misinterpreted his posts.

Yep, that's what I meant, hypothetically.

... and with the news sticky at the PS2 scene authority, PSX-Scene:excitement::biggrin-new::topsy_turvy::highly_amused:. Surely Giant Enemy Crab's favorite forum. I'm surprised that the original pastie hasn't been reported to cyberpolice and the dl links are still alive...
Hope we won't encounter a crab battle.

    Ahoy!

I tested a little bit and noticed the emu always runs in ntsc.
Even when using a pal bios and/or a pal game.
So pal is useless due to the fact the screen does not fit completely.

Until now the regionfree psp pops bios 4.5 works without probs.
Can anyone tell me where the MYDUMP.BIN path is located?

Nowhere. MYDUMP.BIN is poked by the POC2 container, so you'll find no occurrence of it inside of the emu itself.

As we speak of the container, if anyone cracks it and speads a umpteenth shitty hexhack of the 2nd POC, you can be sure that we'll stop wasting our time regarding this fiascotic project.

I hope in the near future there will be a SMB-compatible POPS emulator

    PSX Saves

The brilliant Memcardrex 1.6 opens the HDD save file without any modification. Looks like a regular 128k card image to me. Kula World runs great, but the PAL screen offset is annoying, so i used the NTSC U version of the game.. full audio track too. Great stuff.

UPDATE.. I added one of my Final Fantasy 7 NTSC U saves extracted from a real memory card to the card0 file and re-added to the hdd.. loads fine, and can play from where i left off...:)

UPDATE 2.. FF7 may load from a previous save, but the battle graphics are completely missing.. oh well. Does anybody know how to extract the PSP pops bios as i'd like to try that instead. Im testing on a SCPH-10000 NTSC J with Official 40GB External HDD BTW..

Thanks for that info, I have a EXECUTE.ELF that haves PSP POPS BIOS from FW 6.60 and its Region free (No need to change Game Licence Area to Japan!)
(Download Removed, PM me if you need it. Thanks krHACKen)

Thanks vash32.. I'll give it a try. It's pretty easy to add or remove any ps1 save to either HDD based memory card.. i'll keep testing.

Just let them get him. He will only have thrills on his life when he find a Cease and Desist letter on his mail box (And I am talking the one he has on the front of his house, not e-mail).
