Everyone trying this out: If something has "SONY" written in it you can SAFELY assume it won't work correctly on a harddrive bigger than 120GB.

But my HDD is fully formatted (all 372GB are accessible - uLe says that) and emu works ;) By "partial format" i mean "partial earse" option in format window in winHIIP.

HDD > 120GB not work properly.

Means if you put the partition on a area where LBA is bigger than 137GB it will write or read from the first half of the HDD.

IT WILL SCREW whatever is written on the HDD if it tries to update the memory cards.

Your HD your data. Your problem if the HDD get corrupted and you lose data.

    ... seems legit.
And now you can "Scan / Repair PS2 Drive" if you didn't, and say welcome back to your HDL games:encouragement:.

Owers of HDDs bigger than 120 gigz wanting to preserve their data : just be patient... REFRAIN FROM USING THIS THING.

I know some of you are impatient to put up shitloads of PS1 games and play'em, earnin' fame writing tutorials and stuff... but the files you've downloaded aren't the final super-ultimate-PSemu. The so-called "early POPS" is on hackers/devs hands and is WIP.

    The POPS :
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaBUeINW_3s

    Teh POPS :

First one brings back memories, second one doesn't:grief:.
You gonna ask me "who plays Ridge Racer anyway ?"... Meeeeeeeee, oh I'm so sad:sorrow:.

Ridge Racer Hi-Spec (aka Ridge Racer Turbo Mode). "Turbo Mode" suffers of massive slowdowns + ugly glitches, "Original Mode" has ugly glitches less the slowdowns.
I'm sure that Revolution looks like the same poo of glitches but I'm gonna give it a try anyway... Damn:dejection:.

So if someone that have a 160GB hdd and uses your 48Bit HDD-OSD, you can use the emu but only up to 28bit (137GB)... is that right?
Are your using insert mode in hex editor. You need to add the POPS haeder, not edit over the bin file. Can you add a photo/pic of what you are doing? (I try to help... if I can that is.)

That's right. But since the LBA48 HDDOSD is experimental and the emu has its original modules, I don't recommend it...

Like I did expect, same garbage on RRR (PAL version, NTSC patched).
No SFX in game, no SFX in Sound Test mode.
Hmmm maybe I messed up the TOC during the copy, but Tracks 1 to 6 (6 included) aren't playable.

Thanks for that info, I only have a 120GB hdd and I'm using your LBA28 HDDOSD (A4), if the emu has modules like the HDDOSD and uLE_ev... maybe it can do LBA48 but only as a experimental at this time.

I edit a PAL game to work on my hdd (its most likely patched it to NTSC) and work fine. I doing it all on a SCPH-30001 HDD 120GB, does most of your PAL games do this? For me most of the game I try work fine.
POPS Header to the start of the game img, (Block/offset: 0-FFFFF, Length 100000) form the disc0. You need to add it, I looked at your file in hex and you delete the start of your game img...
the start of it looks like: ( I added it for you, download is in your PM.. see if that works)
Note that this is not all of it.

Since it was done in the HDDOSD, there's no need for us to redo that experiment with the emu. The LBA48 modification isn't planned for now, but it should be done with a rebuild ATA device driver (rather than copying/pasting the same IRX all over)...

Have no problem with my NTSC patched games. They just need a decent Y-fix like I did for the POC (but within the container) and it would be top notch:livid:.

Can someone make a video of a game that is not a racing game please! Maybe like a Final Fantasy or Resident Evil, comparing it to PS2PSXe.

As a matter of fact, neither does Resident Evil. But sound in both should work fine (as they aren't CDDA tracks).

It mostly just like the PSone but on the HDD...
It haves Memory Card (Saves to HDD), Analog Controller, and Vibration Function compatible.
Full speed, faster load time (To me), Texture Mapping set to Smooth (Looks to be like that), also look to be in 480p and as added bones you can exit the game by doing "Select + Start + L1".
And the best of them all... Boots from HDD-OSD (It adds a Icon for the HDD in the Browser, make it 2.00.)

The only video, I can give at this time is this. Notes: All my videos will look like this, but plays 100% on TV in 4:3 (this video is in 16:9/4:3)

Is it really Sony, or just another mistake by Mediafire? They wiped some of my (Not even copyrighted..) files before, but it turned out to be a problem with their system (Nobody filed a claim against my work - so it could not have been Sony).

Not a mistake, as Mediafire sent me an email informing me that files x, y and z infringes SC€A's right, along with some blahblah regarding the DMCA. Files were a bunch of RARs (not password protected). Their system probably detected a magic word, blocked the files and sent me the "default" copyright infringement notice with "SC€A" as entity. I don't think that the Giant Enemy Crab itself claimed rights on the said files though... but if I dispute that infringement, Mediafailor will surely forward it to the said entity for review:wink-new:.
I'm tired of content identification systems... The one of Youtube is ultra nazi. PS2 OSD sound effects drive it totally insane, see this :
