Most of those photos were likely taken with my Canon EOS 5D mark II, while some might have been taken with my old Canon EOS 5D, all with a variety of lenses. :)

Here's what I do, though these prints are a couple years old by now I think.

    With gold leaf:

This one's technically a screen-print, but the process is there.

I was really bored tonight so I went out and took a few night shots. I don't have a fancy SLR camera or a tripod though, just a Panasonic Lumix 5mp. Still, some of these shots have come out quite well.

A nice shot at a crazy junction taken from inside my car.

    Some nice light blur
    [IMG]

A massive apartment block that sits on top of a hill. It actually looks fake and near from this zoomed shot.

It was very dark in this park so I had to use manual settings. I'm quite pleased with the result :)

Finally a shot of my car seats basking in the blue glow of the onboard temp' reader.

Nice job, but I'm afraid you're probably right on the printing. The problem is that your original picture (assuming you haven't resized it) is 100dpi. We always print at 300dpi professionally. Keep it as high as you can if you want to print.

The one posted was resized . Actual picture was 300dpi A2 size, which came to just over 13mb as a JPEG.

Looks alright if you're looking at the whole thing, suffers a bit close up though. I expected that though given how much the image was enlarged...

Just a quick note but likely too late for anyone interested. Dixons have the Canon 50D for £999 and an offer of 5% off any order on the site today till 4pm. So £949.99 for the camera & kit lens. Easily the cheapest around.
