Can't you read? There are air strikes to specific terrorists locations, but nobody is going to do air strike in areas where there are citizens. Well, casualties happens, but they are trying to minimize it. It's obvious that Ukraine isn't interested to kill citizens based on their political standing, they are killing only guys who took weapons and terrorize local people.

And if someone thinks that using fascists and other radicals to gain power is a good idea - they are terribly wrong. It won't take long for Poroshenko to get buttfucked by them - Ukrainian economy won't magically raise from the grave and when there will be no money to pay, nazis will turn against government. My Russian colleagues here told me that their relatives in Ukraine are affected by propaganda as well, they were afraid to go outside because of Russian TV but it wasn't true, it was just a false information (maidan times).

Even Jen Psaki saying that Europe sells gas to Russia looks more like truth than many Ukrainian official news sites.

And why Ukrainian officials are so affraid of foreign journalists that show that war as it is that they hunt them on purpose sometimes, and even before that war started, a lot of independent journalists were threatened, beaten, some even killed? In Russia you can watch, listen, read government media, opposition media, foreign media. In Ukraine they shutting down independent media, banning russian channels etc. Free european country my ass.

There is a mess only in two regions, which are extremely small comparing to all of Ukraine.

It's not a civil war, it's war between Ukraine and Russian saboteurs (and some count of local citizens who were heavily brainwashed by Russian propaganda few previous years). It's a known fact, everything there is ruled by Boroday and Strelkov (aga Girkyn) who are Russian citizens. Kinda funny, can you imagine Ukrainian citizens fighting in, let's say Kuban' and Stavropol (which are ethnically Ukrainian lands btw) against Russian government and Pro-Russian people?

You should differentiate nazi and nationalistic parties. They are very different things. "Right Sector" isn't in Rada at all. Hell, nobody even knew anything about these guys before. First time I heard of this organization only when they started radical actions on Hrushevsky after Berkut crippled and killed few people. "Right Sector" popped out of nowhere, it was said that organization roots are from Dnipropetrovsk but believe me, nobody of my friends and other people I know ever heard about these guys prior to 2014 events. Their candidate Yarosh got as low as %0.7 on presidential elections. You can read about it on Wikipedia's article about Ukrainian presidential elections if you don't trust me. Nationalistic organization were never supported in Ukraine. Even his %0.7 is too high and it's because people become very angry after a lot of our demonstrants were killed by snipers under orders of Yanukovich and Co. All proofs are available, audio records, documents, all chain of events. Snipers identities has been discovered. Some of killers departed to Russia, other guys are hiding in Crimea. Few involved in incident are currently fighting on Ukrainian side trying to lessen their guilt. Svoboda is nationalistic party, but what do they do, do they kill people? They are protecting rights of Ukrainians whose language, culture and identity was under constant pressure by former government. Russian language was and is used freely everywhere in Ukraine. Russian language is widely adopted, Ukrainian is weak, and instead of supporting it, former government did a law, which were significantly reducing it's usage. You should definitely read about it.

First, our Ukrainian opinion on Bandera is very mixed. He was fighting for Ukrainian independence - true. He was using all means to achieve it, even agreements with nazi - yes, he did. There is no absolute white and absolute black, if you want. Truth is somewhere in the middle. It also depends on your perception of Second World War. It isn't "Great Patriotic War" aka "Великая Отечественная Война". It was simple agreement between Russia and Germany to one more time redefine world borders (read Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, if you didn't know about it). But it didn't went according to agreement and nazi tried to conquer Soviet Union. That "Great Patriotic War" is a nuisance created by Soviet Union propaganda to build a strong belief that Soviet people are somewhat special. It's a complete bullshit. I honor all people who died protecting their motherland. I condemn all others who tried to take my land. But I do not recognize "Great Victory" "Великая Победа" because it was victory of one regime of the other. All world celebrate memorial day of people who died in war, and only Russia and friends are celebrating "Great Victory". I born in same environment called "Soviet Union" as you, and I was believing in same shit as you: "Братья Славяне", "Наши". And now all of it collapsed. Russians destroy everything they "protect". Check out Transnistria, Osetiya, are they developed, what happened there? Same thing happened there before Ukraine. "Russian Peacemakers" with few tanks came to protect their "Russian brothers". All of your "journalists" crossed our border illegally and they didn't have any approval from us. So first there is no way to know that there is one journalist inside group of terrorist (and group of terrorists should be eliminated).
A lot of your "journalists" are undercover military advisors. We are even too kind to release them back to Russia instead of imprisonment. And Russia do otherwise, two days ago they kidnapped our pilot and moved her illegally to Russia, and now she is there in prison. What is funny though is that official Russian answer was "she crossed our border as a refugee and we checked her documents and she is related to killing our journalists". Which a complete bullshit. It is civil war. If ukraininan army, whose purpose to protect civilians shellin them instead, it is a Civil War. When antiterror operation happens in Russia or Daghestan, special forces evaquate all possible civilians in the area of operation and only then they start antiterror operation. But what ukrainian army did? They blocked out completely Donetsk and Luhansk and started shelling these areas, killing everyone everywhere. Yeah-yeah, really... Situation is very simple - In Crimea most of the people always wanted to be part of the Russia and it wasn't the first referendum even. Russia have intelligence you know. And after seeing that wast majority of the people, officials etc are supporting idea to become a part of Russia, and there are plans to throw Russian fleet out and replace it with NATO, that idea was greenlit. Thing that russian military was already there and a locals formed self-defence helped to provide security and prevent any bloodshed. While in eastern parts of Ukraine there are just rebels - not fully formed governments etc. And local population did not support any ideas of joining Russia. Even that referendum was about independence from Ukraine, nothing about joining Russia.
Referendum that Putin asked to postpone in fact.

There were no real plans for invasion or even full military support and it didn't happen. And because there are no fully working government yet that's why those self-proclaimed republics got recognised only by one partially recognised state so far.

Your governments desperately wanted to find modern russian weapons used by rebels, but for now nothing but BS. All weapons they have is acquired from Ukrainian army or police. They even use WW2 weapons.

And last but not least. In the beginning of all that civilian war stuff, people from eastern parts asked for federation which just means more rights as the part of Ukraine. And it was in the best interests of russian government too, that's why officials asked to postpone that referendum. Kiev responded with army, after first dead civilians local population started to support idea of independence, not federation or any other way as a part of Ukraine. And it was possible to resolve that situation peacefully, or at least with minimal force, using special forces, not Su-24s and MRLs.
But someone wanted this war. War means suffering for ones, profit for others.
