Does anyone ever use that service, really? The few times I've seen it running I couldn't honestly believe it existed. It seemed like such a waste of time and effort. EDIT: or were you joking, I can't tell.
After watching the Uncharted demo... I dislike the motion controls, I hope they're not mandatory and have alternative button presses that will do the same thing.

Anyone read the naughty dog interview in game informer where they say they don't even have a dev kit for psp2? -- Also four a4 chips (quad a4) is like 1/100th the power of a real cell processor. Sony shouldn't insult people by comparing them. This isn't 1989 where computers are some magical box delivered by unicorns... We understand tech far better than ever. Powerful as ps3? Lets see if it could output these games at 1080p before we ooh and ah.
My thoughts exactly. People say the PSP is about as powerful as a PS2. No way. I think those are hype words. All the kids in the schoolyards of the internet will be talking to their friends, "IT'S LIKE A PS3 HANDHELD!" "NO WAY" "REALLY!" - then it gets ingrained in their minds even when they are proven otherwise. [random semi-related anecdote] I just remember my friends trying to hype the PS2 when it came out. One guy insisted on calling it the "P2" and if you said "PS2" he would "correct" you. I'm still good friends with him. [/random semi-related anecdote]
You need to rad between the lines as to what Sony are actually saying, beyond the marketing BS. They are not saying the PSP2 is a portable PS3. They are saying the graphics are similar to a PS3 running in 544p, which naturally requires a lot less horsepower than to run at 1080p so it doesn't actually have anything close to a PS3 under the hood. It is just that at that resolution it will have comparable graphics.
Lets see if more then 1/3 of Ps3 games can even run at 1080p. The cell is a beast no doubt about it but in all seriousness, If someone ported a standard multiplatform game (which obviously isn't going to efficiently use every inch of the cell), their games will obtain about 1/3 of the performance they got out of PS3 and for a portable that's pretty damn impressive.
Exactly. No one else seemed to get that part. It's a portable PS3 in the meaning of the word that games will look like them at that lower resolution. It doesn't have to output @ 1080p to = PortablePS3 Even then, not every PS3 game outputs to 1080p.
No no no. Stop fawning over it for a minute and remember the follow up article that also stated to quote: "as powerful as ps3" They actually used these words. If it had been touted as "comparable to ps3" I wouldn't hold them against the fire. It looks great. I just distrust Sony and their pr machine after the whole "people will buy a ps3 at launch price even if we have no games" debacle. I love Sony products, but they are rather cold and disconnected from their user base in ways that make me wonder how the Hell they manage to stay as popular as they are.
By not designing/releasing a system that has a 54% failure rate  But in all seriousness, PR departments are not working on the actually hardware and stuff gets jumbled, however I agree that you shouldn't state something about your hardware that isn't true . . . -Disjaukifa
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=020163&loc=homeflash1 YOU WANT PRAY GAME???? THAT WILL BE $999.99
Ah well, from everything I've seen it does look great. Only 45 years until we see GT for it. Can't wait.
Um . . . wow . . . other than the ridiculous price, is that an actually image of the PSP2? And why is it called PSP NGP? -Disjaukifa
Can I nominate that for funniest thus week? Dude. Southpark was right. "Japanese people have no souls" (yes I am aware that's a placeholder page with a made up price)
a) It says Price is subject to change. It probably will b) Yes - fugly isn't it? c) NGP = Next Generation Portable.
