Even if you cancel, they charge commission on whatever it was at when you cancel...

And it's up on ebay now for $20,000. I don't think he has any real intention of selling it. He's just trolling people.

I'm kind of tired of hearing about this thing.

You don't cancel, the whole point of the high reserve is that it wont sell. the auction ends with no winner and you the sell it outside of ebay and all you pay is the listing fee.

Not unless someone places a bid, then not follow through the seller would be dinged a fee that can take a few weeks to get rid of via NPB process. At 20 grand, the fee would be close to $2,000

Wait he couldn't sell it at 8K so he wants 20K? What a tool.

The lone man is now calling fake on kidvids Pluto?? and he claims that SuperMagnetic helped him verify it.. Even though SuperMagnetic himself verified that it was real on this very thread... I'm confused. All of this drama is getting ridiculous.

Hard to know if one of them is lying or if there was just confusion and impatience between them.

@kidvid666 tried to contact @lastmanoftruth before putting up the current eBay listing. @lastmanoftruth mentioned a minimum $9000 price depending on condition, which is a lot less than he initially stated, so I can understand @kidvid666 deciding not to go through with the deal anymore. @kidvid666 didn't get a reply as fast as he wanted and decided @lastmanoftruth was just wasting his time. @lastmanoftruth said on twitter in May that he'd buy it near the end of June. That time hasn't come yet, so it seems a bit early for @kidvid666 to declare @lastmanoftruth as a time waster but I haven't seen their private messages.

I don't know why @lastmanoftruth says it is a fake. There are some differences from SuperMagnetic's system but it's a prototype, they often change. It's far too elaborate to be a fake. I'm sure it's real. Declaring fake and putting doubts out there is a good way to lower prices of rare items or just get back at someone for deciding not to sell to you.

Well since kidvid666's Pluto is #1 and the other guys is #2 there's bound to be some differences between them as they're both prototypes. Not sure how it could be fake, or why he'd go to the fort of making a mould and putting it all together. If it is fake I'd love to hear the evidence to support those accusations.

I fail to see how it could be a fake.. It was revealed mere days(?) after SuperMagnetic made the existence of the console known. How could someone fake something that was completely unknown, before he even knew that it existed. In short. You mean to tell me that this guy made a fake copy of a system that was completely unknown?? Either before he even knew what it was or within hours of seeing a few pictures online..

Hey everybody. It's been a long time since I've visited. I was rearranging my office, when I saw the Pluto again, which brought back fond memories of posting about it on this site (can ya believe it's been four years already?).

Not much new to tell, honestly. I still have mine (the Pluto-02), and I'm not sure of the fate of the 01. (I kind of went into hiding after all the eBay drama and such.) I talked to kidvid666 a bit during that whole process, and he seemed to have good intentions in selling it, so I wasn't quite sure what all the hate was about. Thems the internets for you, I guess.

I haven't had the heart to open it up and look at the innards (as some people requested), as I tend to break things when I try to "work" on them. It still works, and I've basically kept it hidden away to keep it in as good of condition as possible.

Down the road, I'm not sure what I'll do with it, if anything. There will be those that say, "It belongs in a museum!," and if there were such a museum, I would consider that. But until then, unless a rich oil baron or Bitcoin millionaire makes me an offer I can't refuse, it'll stay right here, and I'll pass it on to my sons, after they prove their worthiness through a series of retro gaming trials!

Anyway, sorry for the random bump, just thought I'd give an update.
