Comparing with some pictures (like the one over here), I think his full name might be 山本雅央 (Masao Yamamoto).

 

What about the phrase, "Can you take me a picture?" I'm gonna say this to the Japanese tourists here in my city. Google Translation sucks!

 

If you're asking whether you can take a picture for them, then I'd say:

写真を撮りましょうか？
(Shashin wo torimashou ka?)

However, if you want them to take a picture for you, then perhaps the following:

写真を撮ってもらえますか？
(Shashin wo totte moraemasuka?)

I'm having a bit of difficulty reading the text here, despite my best attempt to clean it up - the scan was kinda low-res and this is the best I've been able to get it but still can't fully work out a couple of the kanji - not sure if it's just as my eyes are sore or if it's the text that's too bloody blurry or what. >_<;

If anyone could make out what they are, that would be a great help. (Something about a wait for a presentation some time in 1999? I'm not entirely sure).

I've got this scan of a Japanese Magazine about the 3DO. Is there any new/interesting information?

 

Mostly, it's a page pointing out the virtues of the system (all those areas marked "Hi-Speed," "Vertual Reality," etc.) with descriptions of games that exemplify these virtues (the pictures with the red boxes next to them are the game descriptions). There's also an announcement for an event called 3DO World that was to be held in Osaka and Tokyo where visitors could try out the 3DO (the yellow rectangle in the lower left with Goku and whoever is the front side of a registration post card for the event).

Most interesting to me was the green box in the lower right entitled "3DO in America Part II," discussing the CES event held in January of that year. Considering its small size, I'd assume it's a lead-in to a full article, but as no page number listed, may that little blurb is all. It says there were many interesting new games at the show, including a puzzle game that uses dice. The author wonders if it will come to Japan.

Seems to say "XBOX Style Change [ X ]" It uses a kinda weird reading of "Kisekae" but it can also be read as "Dress-Up", "Changing Styles", "Changing Clothes". Since it's not exactly written like "kisekae ningyou", I'm more inclined to lean towards the style reading of it as it wasn't written in Kanji like the "dress-up" term usually is.

I also forgot I had this, the Kagero Series Sound Collection CD - which has music that has remained unreleased and there's no details regarding a soundtrack for Deception IV.

I'm trying to translate the track names from the embedded ID3 tags off the disc so I can release the CD (it was only available with a particular bundle of Deception IV in Japan).

If anyone could assist with either correcting my abysmal translation attempts or help fill in some gaps, that would be a fantastic help! Thank you in advance.

yeh I think they are shop demos or sample versions apparently some have beta content.

 

I know this is a huge chunk of text, but if someone could translate it and help me get the general gist of what it says, that would be greatly appreciated. Functional, yes, and can be used as-is. but it's old and has been serviced, and many parts aren't original, so think of it as a mutt. He recommends someone w/ enough skill to do maintenance bid. He specifically mentions you should be able to troubleshoot a bad cartridge connection.
