I think it's an ALT-code in Windows: Alt+0387 on the Numpad.

If you have a Mac (like me), you'll rather just "Neo Geo" and copy/paste it :dammit:

^ Actually, I just spend a few minutes trying out every button on my Macbook and alt + question mark (on my Qwerty keyboard, mind you) does the trick. Another one of life's mysteries solved =D .

Don't suppose anyone could give me a quick rough translation of this?

That is from a Nakajima (Subaru) airplane.

The top says "Reishiki Kansen" (Zero Type/Grade Carrier Fighter)
The middle says "Nakajima 11505 gou" (Nakajima #11505)

The top part is just an abbreviated version of 零式艦上戦闘機 which phonetically is Reishiki Kanjou Sentouki which is better known in English as the "Zero fighter".

    零式 Reishiki: Zero (type)
    艦上 Kanjou: On a carrier
    戦闘機 Sentouki: Fighter

I cannot identify the meaning of the bottom kanji, but it seems to be an identifier.

Could someone help translate this small liner note?

This is from Naofumi Hataya from the True Colors Sonic album. He did a remix of a song from Sonic 3, but since he is presumably not responsible for any music from the game, I'm curious what he's saying.

The only thing I could get was that "it was his favorite track" or something like that. I don't know for sure though.

    I'll give it a shot.

"One day, after having not touched FM synthesis in such a long while, I was given the opportunity to remix my favorite music from the Sonic series as an extra for the Sonic Gems Collection. I chose the music from Sonic 3 and constructed it by layering some sound effects and adding some noise. I wanted to make use of the infamous register sound effect from the result tally screen."

Anyone else think it can be better worded lemme know. I compressed stuff into one sentence since it didn't seem right in English as lots of different sentences...

Could someone translate this? It's being needed for an emulator author so he can implement analog controls for the games that supported this special controller.

Thanks for the quick work Hashiriya1!

A friend of mine has had that piece of wreckage in his attic for a while and was very happy to know what it said/ is.

That's a piece of history right there. Probably scooped up by an American soldier taking apart a shot-down Zero fighter.

What's being said here? Female worker turns around to see her male superior and says this. It sounds like a name, but his name is "Okada Hiroshi".

I can't really give you any "context"... The scene starts out with the woman sitting in a chair looking at paperwork, she turns around and this is the first thing said in the scene. He then says her name and begins to talk. I could upload more if need be.

give the context = say from where you took the audio :)

A little googling makes me guess it was taken from "Rasen"
Your Okada Hiroshi is written as: 陸田博
    (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/らせん_(ホラー))
-> 陸田 can be read in different ways: okata, rikuta, ....
-> either it's not Okada but Rikuta, or it's a nickname...

Ah, thanks a lot! So would you say an effective way of translating it would be just "Mr. Rikuta"? Or now that I read it, I assume is "Rikuta" is a first name, so for subtitles, just use Rikuta?
