Asuka is playing some Famicom game in one of the Evangelion episodes. Or maybe it was Super Famicom? Its funny, a movie set in 2015 and kids are still playing Super Famicom. I guess Asuka was "old school":110:
Home Alone 3, the case to the VHS the kid in his set of gear to catch burlgers has a yellow game gear. and in a drawer in the movie, there are genesis games.
Henners everyone pretends to have not seen that movie. You just brought back some bad memories. I think that scene was the best though.
Home Alone 1 and 2 only. 3 should not have been made. i'm still hoping for Mucully Kulkin to reprise his role has Kevin McCallister in a sequel to the holiday classics.
In Disturbia, Near the beggining of the movie, he's been restricted to his house and I remember he is playing some game on his Xbox 360 when his LIVE subscription gets canceled midgame. Can't remember what game he was playing though, I want to say it was COD4. Anyone know for sure? -Doom
Can't be CoD 4 because the movie was finished about 9 months before the release. I guess it was some predecessor of CoD 4 though, but it is rather hard to say.
After watching some of the old episodes of the Critic, I saw tons of "Deja Vu" jokes that have appeared on Family Guy. I guess the Simpsons wasn't the only thing they copied! Speaking of FG, anyone remember the new episode with Peter singing the song about the bird? That crap got old in the first minute or so, and like always, they drug the joke out for like 15 minutes. Yeah.
I know, it sucks. When Family Guy was first around, the old episodes anyhow, it was actually pretty clever and funny. Since it got popular through Adult Swim and Adult Swims average viewers are fuckheads they dumbed it down or something. Whatever.
After that episode, that's all I sang on Xbox Live in the Halo 3 lobbies. I would just sing, "The Bird is the Word" loud and obnoxiously until the game started. Of course I'd ask them, "Hey (insert random gamertag), have you heard?" "Uh...no..." "What? Seriously? Everybody's heard." "Heard what?" Que singing.
Yeah, that was annoying as hell. Now that I know it's from Family Guy I might have to mute you. You also fucked up Crossfire.
DUDE!! Crossfire is amazing. And that song is amazing. Do you drink an extra tall glass of Haterade this morning or what??
CROSSFIRE! YOU'LL GET UP CAUGHT UP IN THE! CROSSFIRE! I did a presentation to my mass media class friday about childrens advertising techniques and i opened it up with Crossfire commecial
I think it was a Sega console though. The joypad clearly read "SEGA" on it. Which is hardly strange because Sega was involved in the production of the action figures and videogames. An indirect 'thank you' nod perhaps? It was GRAW. And the funny bit is this: It was a solo player mission not played on Live. But knowing the kind of people who play on Live (those with headsets) he was better off.
