YES! I was so hyped for this game back in the day.... I read articles about it in Official Xbox Magazine repeatedly.
A member of this forum even owns a prototype PCB of the MD game if I recall correctly. It sold for ridiculously little money on YAJ o_o
Lamborghini Xbox: we all know the story... :moody: The Grinder Wii: what's up with this, I would have expected Sega to publish it already?
The funny thing about Lamborghini is: There are builds out there which are playable on a (modded) 64MB console. At least one build is situated in GB and another one in Germany, as they have been teased in Youtube-Videos and on several websites. But it seems they are watermarked/traceable, so none of the persons owning one is really willing to part with one, at least not if the buyer intended to dump it. Which I surely would if I could get my hands on one since this game deserves to be played by as many people as possible imo. I still fire up the demo from time to time ^^
Even though it's not particularly hard to find, I suppose.. I'd have to say the NTSC-U release of Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout, sealed.
I may have already said this before in this thread, but for me (other than the obvious, like EB64), I want Armada 2, DC or Xbox rev. The original was my brother's and my FAVORITE game to play when we got it, battling out PSO constantly for that top spot. When we heard there would be a sequel, we were more than excited. Then it never came and the DC was dead - subsequently finding out it would be on XBOX. One of the justifications for me getting the latter console was knowing one day I would have Armada 2 on it. Lame. http://www.unseen64.net/2008/04/10/armada-2-online-cancelled/ [EDIT: Holy cow, my 2400th post.]
Absolutely anything to do with Hitman new or old. It is my most loved franchise. I have played all the games and I am really looking forward to Hitman Absolution.
My "Holy Grail" unreleased video game is Dragon Hopper for the Virtual Boy, about which I am confident that a 100% finished version exists. I would be willing to pay $30,000.00+ for a copy.
My grail would be the incredibly elusive GLUCOBOY its so hard to find i am even wondering if it exist -__- all i can find is information about it and nothing about it on sale in recent years its disappeared or was never released if it is released i guarantee you wont find more then 1 of them as it is a Australian only release from what i have heard i live here and have never seen one and its leaving me frustrated that i may never see one s=
Suppose an SN-TDEV would be top of my want list. Alas, I likely won't have the money to be in the market for one any time soon. I'd also love for the ROMs of Nintendo Campus Challenge '91, '92 and Powerfest '94 to be dumped and put online, but I don't expect that to happen any time soon. I know there's bunnyboy's reproductions of the first two, and hopefully soon someone else will be making one of the third, but I imagine the ROMs have been touched up to work with the redesigned carts.
Answers like this always fascinate me since I can't wrap my head around why someone would choose a relatively useless item for the average gamer over a playable game =p I guess I lack the collectors mentality. I feel like I remember that being confirmed to exist at one point. At $30,000, anyone that has it would be stupid to pass it up. Just make a ROM for yourself and then sell! Er.. would you plan to share it in any way if you bought it? $25,000 community fund lol
That's the thing, if I would truly pay $30,000.00 or more for Dragon Hopper, then I feel that I would have "earned" my right to do whatever I want with it, and my desire would be to release the ROM for everyone to play. I would most likely try to start a Kickstarter or something, to try to get as much money back as possible, but I'd be willing to take a loss on it just so that everyone could play the game. The problem is, the people who allegedly have Dragon Hopper today all seem to have made promises never to share the ROM with anyone else, and I really don't like that. If I had to make such a promise just to get to play Dragon Hopper before I die, I don't know if I would make the deal, but if I did make the deal, I certainly wouldn't be willing to pay $30,000.00 if I could not share it with anyone else.
I'd really like to see the version of Super Mario World 2 that existed before they decided to completely change directions and turn it into Yoshi's Island.
