I'd definitely say "mock-up" on some of those shots (definitely was a common thing to do in magazines around the PS1 era), but either way, they are very interesting. Giant eve fan here myself, thanks for sharing that scan!
whatever it is, im not going to rest until i have whatever it ends up being i still have that page btw, can share the raw scan if there's interest
my grails: godfather for the master system latest possible build of shinobi III for the megadrive that still include the tiger sprites tetris megadrive ^^
As far as I know, this was the same demo disc which was used in the first Wii interactive kiosks in GameStop/EB stores. If so I've got it in my own collection. http://retrogamer72.nintendoage.com/zeldatwilight.html EDIT: sorry, should have read that more closely, I missed the "GC" part. :O
- Resident Evil 1.5 (Bio Hazard 1.5) - Resident Evil 3.5 (Bio Hazard 3.5... Bio Hazard 4 betas build n.2 and n.3) http://www.relyonhorror.com/in-depth/resident-evil-3-5-in-depth-analysis/ Some pics:
Still waiting for a complete build of Lamborghini for Xbox to surface... Rarely played a racing game which felt so... well executed, really. Somehow it had a Metropolis Street Racer vibe to it for me, don't know why. I just really like the demo and take it for a spin now and then.
I forget another Holy Grail for me, this is really hard: - Alan Wake from E3 2005 This Alan Wake was totally different from final version. It's free roaming, with missions.
Mine would have to be: Anything beta or pre release for Any Dead or Alive game, for Saturn, Playstation, Xbox, Dreamcast, Playstation 2 or Xbox 360. I would go as far to say anything that even differed slightly from retail. Castlevania Resurrection for Dreamcast Sega Saturn Shenmue Duke Nukem Forever Prototypes Stargate SG-1 Alliance
Sega Saturn - Ridge Racer Nintendo DS - Europa Universalis Both of which are unconfirmed if they reached working status, unfortunately.
It seems that Resident Evil 3.5 carries much of the allure for some RE fans that the early development versions of Ocarina of Time has for many Zelda fans. While these things were cut for a reason and the finished product was unquestionably more polished and solid a game than these in-development versions were, the desire to explore what seems like entirely new parts of a well-loved game can be very strong.
Word to that. While 1.5 and 3.5 have been on my mind lately one question has continually reemerged that I can't quite answer. Since both versions of both games were canned and redone with the second iteration being officially released and part of the story canon, are we to consider 1.5 and 3.5 canon as well? Or is the fact they were canned and essentially replaced by another game in their exact same spot reason enough to disregard them as anything other an a possible "alternate universe".
hmmm i would have to say.. anything unreleased xbox or 360 and anything aliens or colonial marines would be my "holy Grails"
1 - Deathtrap Dungeon prototypes for the PC or PSX 2 - The Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall PC DOS Alpha/Beta stage versions What I wouldn't give to own these or to know that they exist somewhere in some form. ray:
