Nothing. Cost to much to have a car with insurance and stuff. And most of the time I can walk or take the train. Only time I which I had a car is when I have to go to the post office and carry heavy packages home -_-
Sold mine 2 years ago. Not conducive to living slap bang in the centre of this country's largest city. Public transport can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but tbh it's still way cheaper at present for me to hire a taxi for specific journeys than own a car.
Some Saturns are re-badged Opel/Vauxhall cars. I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra SE-R with "a few" mods. ;-) This one isn't mine, but mine is very similar. (I have silver wheels and no sunroof)
Mine: 1999 GMC Jimmy. Reliable and gets the same mileage my old Taurus POS gets that crapped out on me, sorta... http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/1894/newcar1wo6.jpg http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/2640/newcar2gx3.jpg I know they have ecotec engines that are pretty much designed from this company, but I don't think they are rebadged cars.
I mostly walk or rail since those both are free, but if I had to use a car it would have to be this: 1988 Saab 900i.
I don't actually drive, I only have a provisional license. My pride and joy is a 1965 Triumph Herald 12/50, though.... Admit it... you only got it so you could tell everyone about your wankel  Borman, those Audis always remind me a little of a DeLorean, hehe. Does yours have a flux capacitor or a Mr. Fusion? ;-)
Triumph hard tops look a bit........strange, but killer looking ride, does it run?....how bad are the floor boards.....rust in the "usual" places :icon_bigg
None at the moment, but I had a 1986 Toyota MR2 Mark 1 in Red for a few months, before it failed the MOT and I sold it for parts at slightly more then I paid for the car. The Triumph looks cool in a 60s sort of way, I have a soft spot for the Triumph TR7 drophead.
I drive a 2002 VW Jetta. It has been a great car with the exception of killing batteries. There is nothing wrong with the electrical it is just the security system sucks the juice out of them. I plan on driving it until either I win the lottery or fuel cell cars are affordable, and even then it will only be a VW or BMW. The feel of driving a german car is just perfect for me. It is also a standard as I hate driving automatics.
Yeah, it looks like I was a little off. The only current Saturn that's a re-badge is the Astra which is a re-badged Opel (Astra). The Saturn Aura was supposed to be replaced with a re-badged Opel Insignia next year, too. (Maybe I read that somewhere and confused it with the current model.) This goes the other way around too as the Saturn Sky is sold as an Opel GT in some European countries.
I've got a '94 Peugeot 306 to go to and from work (240,000 km on the clock and counting) and a 2001 Jeep Cherokee turbo diesel for the family, but my favourite transport are my motorbikes, of which I have five. Of these, three are general off-road only dirt bikes, one is a scooter and the remaining one is a Dakar rally-style racing bike I built up for the Australasian Safari. Here's one that I've done a bit of touring on... And here's my scooter which I prepared and raced in a 1,500km off-road rally late last year.
2006 Subaru Impreza STi sports wagon. Goes like stink and drinks like a man in the desert which is a bummber on game funds. Another bumber is that it has a baby seat in the back knocking down the coolness value Yakumo
The rust is pretty much everywhere lol. There's a hole in the chassis that needs attention, the driver's floor pan, probably the boot, rear valance and boot lid need replacing (got those), and the rain channels are rusting (nasty). It doesn't drive, but I've had it turning over. The TR7 is a pretty poor car. So unreliable. It was a sad end (OK the TR8, same difference) to the TR range, as the others were awesome cars! I nearly ended up getting 2 of the 3 Coca-Cola TR7s, which were just about the only TR7s worth having! I guess an exception would be the screen-used ones from The New Avengers. Yakumo, have you thought about getting a more practical (read: economical) family car, then?
yeah, 25km per liter on those, pretty good going. Just a shame they're a load of crap unless your a woman with no idea in cars or one of those guys who thinks a box is cool  What? And basically say my life is over. No way!:110: I can't stand driving some eco box that's sold as a fashion accessory than a car. I moan about fuel consumption but then again these days I moan about everything  I'm going to have a nice read through this thread when I get home. Not much point reading it in work since I can't see anyone's pictures thanks to the filters.OH: yakumo
I know! Ive always thought the front specifically was DeLorean like, my roommate thought the same. Its got a knock-off flux capacitor in it When I graduate college, I may treat myself to a DeLorean. Pretty shit for reliability, but dammit, I want one
i have no cars of my own, but i'm driving this one: blue version and dirtier outside you can really have your fun in the mounteains with it but it's a most unconfortable car
Did you know that you can still buy a brand new DeLorean? There is a company in Texas that bought the rights and inventory and still have enough parts to build complete cars on special order. To be honest though I could think of some better cars for the price. http://www.delorean.com/
