    i hope they don't follow nintendo and apple. i hate the road they are bringing videogames on.

    Agreed. Touchscreen/tablet controllers will NOT work for mainstream gaming. Players need the tactile feedback of physical buttons.

    Iwata has mentioned that the controller will feature buttons. So I guess the controller is going to look like a tablet with d-pad and buttons somewhere.

    If nintendo wants to beat apple they have a long way ahead with that crappy toy-like industrial design of the 3DS.

    While the Wii had a sleek (albeit plasticky) finish the 3DS just doesnt looks like something that costs $250.

    Just check new apple users: 1 out of 3 digs the brand because it looks expensive, even when its not (eg: the Xoom was more expensive than the iPad2)
