I blame it on trying to do anything decent typing on an iPad. I'll fix it soon. (tired from cooking, I'd probrably mess it up more)

 

I'll get one when the inevitable SSB and/or Mario game comes out. I'm a little burnt out on Nintendo after the 3DS - it's a good console and it has some great games, but their support of it over the last year or so has been shit. The last game that came out for it that looked kinda good (which I didn't get) was Kid Icarus: Uprising, and that was in March. Hence why I sold the damn thing. I'll probably get the Wii U once it has a killer app. So far none of the games that have even been announced look like potential killer apps to me. But I'd love to be proven wrong. At any rate, every Nintendo console I've ever owned (which is nearly all of them) has had at least one (usually several) really awesome games. I don't doubt that one will come along eventually, but I'm going to be a little bit more cautious this time around.

 

/me wonders where is f-zero >_> it was the only console seller left to me since when all the zelda games are rehashes of the older ones or sadly play the same....

to think they did actually try and inovate the brand back in the past...

 

didn't one of the VC emulators actually try to push 280p out of the wii? I could be mistaken so don't quote me on that

actually the New Super Mario Bros game is out as I'm sure you know. I'm at the end of the 3 rd world and so far it is amazing. The first world is typical but after that it just keeps getting better. I just played a level where it looked like that. Night sky painting with swirling water co.ormaffects and graphics kinda of similar to Super World 2. It was like playing a living water color painting. This really is a true Mario game.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well, what I meant was a 3D Mario game like Galaxy or Super Mario 64. The NSMB games are good, but they don't excite me the way a true 3D Mario game does. I'll admit that sounds pretty cool, though.

 

Can anyone with a Wii U let me know if you are able to play normal Wii games just on the tablet?

i.e. I am looking to get Wii Fit running on a Wii u, but without the need of turning on a tv. Possible?

I know Wii fit u is indevelopment but no timeframe as yet

 

If it's Not Mario, Zelda, Metriod Or Kirby Nintendo doesn't care.

I'd kill for another F-Zero myself. It's been what 10 years since GX and I want more. Granted I have yet to play F-Zero X and will once I get a working N64. Still...NEW F-ZERO PLZ

 

Going to take the plunge, stuck a pre-order down on the ZombiU pack yesterday (that's all Game had left). Midnight launch on Thursday night....now to get Friday off work! :biggrin-new:

 

I own the Wii U. i dint like it that much.

 

what do you not like about it? would be good to read peoples opinions who have one.

Eh... X is good, but I think GX is better in most ways. I own both, by the way. I hope to one day own the 64DD expansion pack, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one.

 

Obviously the winner won't pay lol.
