Wow. At the back of my mind I thought this would happen after the huge backlash of E3, but even now I'm speechless.

- Japan still won't give a shit about it.
- 3rd parties will favor the Playstation as they did the PS2 and PS3
- Indies will still be able to self publish only on PS4.

This is a good day for Consumer rights. But the damage was done LONG before. I was going to get a PS4 even before all the DRM Bullshit because after 12 years of XBOX, I saw all the good stuff going to the PS2 and PS3 and sometimes to Nintendo. I reached my breaking point.

The real reason Microsoft backtracked on this, was due to Gamestop refusing to Carry XBOX One.

I'll say this, they have balls for listening to the community. Very often people don't. Whether or not it would have determined a winner if they had kept the DRM I don't know (i'm sure people will say it would have). I pre ordered an xbox one immediately, and that preorder still stands.
