XBOX new console is "Xbox one" no 360 backwards compatibility, 8 core, 500gb, 8gb ram

It was a terrible collection of cliches: of course the rebels who left the colony would turn out to be the good guys, and the colony would have some kind of dark secret...if it had been renewed for a second season, they probably would've revealed that the girlfriend the main family's kid left behind had moved on/betrayed the family, causing the kid to throw that medallion/necklace/whatever he always carried into a lake or something.

More money, seriously? It was already really expensive, and shows like Firefly, Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who have done much better sci-fi with smaller budgets.

 

Id be Highly surprised if Sony didnt have a similar system.

Hi we are Xbox, we take our name from a 10 year old console, the Play Station One, we take the voice command used on google glass and Siri. Then we add features on the console that have been around since the early 2000's through a PC. After that we paid a few girls to "whoo" and yell whenever our presenter says something.

Oh yeah, and we wear a suit with tennis shoes to show you how "cool" we are.

 

Not offensive lol, just puzzling. I forgot Horizon existed which was really just a spinoff game by a different company and 4 repackaged. 5 will be very different im quite certain.

PlayStation One is a colloquial term, unless you count the PSOne which only came around to distinguish from the then launching PS2.

 

Im counting the PSOne, which still even if it was released last year, already done before.

 

spec-wise I'd say pretty nice, but the used games fee absolutely kills it for me. I just hope Sony won't pull the same BS, else I'll be getting a Wii U. It's a shame, really, but if M$ are that greedy they'll lose me as a customer.

 

Wii U has a revolutionary plan against used games: not having any games worth playing.

 

You are not giving people very much credit at all if you think people are going to get confused about this. It will be very obvious what people when they are talking about the "Xbox One". Xbox is different from Xbox One. Xbox is XBOX. If abbreviated, Xbox One will become XB1. It's not hard, or confusing.

Reminds me of a 3D0 design wise mixed with Philips CD Rom. Didn't those systems promote incredible CD Rom movies to watch and great interactive entertainment and it plays games sometimes?
