XBOX new console is "Xbox one" no 360 backwards compatibility, 8 core, 500gb, 8gb ram

Hmmm I still will buy this console and the PS4 at launch , I am a gamer not a fanboy. Maybe a Fanboy of gaming. I still play my NES more than any other console I own but I will own this console just because I am a gamer.

I don't give a shit what it has on it like Skype , Facepage ect I will be buying this to play games on it , same with the PS4.

 

It is my sincere wish that somebody hacks the fuck out of XBL after this comes out and takes it offline for a couple of weeks. Then maybe we won't have to deal with this always connected DRM shit for a generation or two.

The only reason Sony didn't pull this with the PS4 is because they couldn't after the PSN debacle. That hack was a blessing in disguise.

If these remain intact for the release, then they have really fucked themselves over when it comes to actual gamers purchasing this console.

I still think it is weird that many of you are taking this new Xbox reveal & propping up the PS4 just because this Xbox One sounds like crap. Guess what? Just because the New Xbox isn't looking so great doesn't mean the PS4 is sounding any better. They both sound like a pile of shit. I say go the route of the PC. Not because I would consider myself a fanboy, but that rationality & the freedom to use my purchased software as I see fit just makes a whole lot of sense.

 

MS has managed to make me hate their new console in record time.
At least PS4 is looking good so far, so not all hope is lost for the next console generation just yet.

 

I'm a fan of games too which is why I won't buy this until they disable the Kinect requirement at the very least.

 

If you were a fan of games that would not discourage you.

 

It'll be packed in with the console, so it's not like it'll be an added expense.

And "required" just means it'll have to be plugged in. You can drop it down the back of your cabinet if you don't want to use/see it.

I am a fan of games, and it does discourage me as well. Just because it will have some good games on it doesn't mean we will put up with stuff like mandatory kinect & used games being charged for. What kind of logic are you guys using? Are you saying that anyone who likes games will just look past all of these inconveniences? & if you are going to say that they aren't inconveniences, then you are missing the point that people aren't too happy that they won't be able to share games with friends or sell their previously purchased software.

 

More like you wont be able to use your console for 2 weeks since it locks out if you dont connect at least once a day.
