I wonder if it comes with the head. Seems they've got retro games in mind, with their take on Rob the Robot.
Well the MTV event already happend but they wont air it till next week, but that doesnt stop people that went there from spilling the beans. I found this on the Gaming-age forums here is a summary of what was shown: In summary then. Hardware:- * DVD burner * tivo capabilities * customization for your xbox (faceplates) * wireless * text messaging on XBL * xbox live button on the controller that pops up a menu with live options The Games :- Perfect Dark Zero * Playable * 22 weapons, able to import your own body * you can fly with a jetpack on the map * counter strike feel * invisibilty gun * strapped to wall gun - shots people when they walked by. A new Medal of Honor game * Battlefield like A new Ghost Recon game * Ghost Recon 3 with some new HUD A medieval rpg. Possibly Elder Scrolls Oblivion
God, the logo on the controler is ugly as hell. Meh, I just don't like the white (Looks too...generic and cheap...
I like the white, it's definately not a color for messy people though. The silver logo/trackball (what is it?) is damn ugly though, they should have made it look like an eyeball or put a camera or something useful in it! Other than that I dig the controller. The actual case isn't that bad IMO either as long as it's not silver, ugh, I do hate silver stuff, unless it's chromed out.
I hope you don't need to have online capabilities to use the damn thing. I just want a console , not some fucking webtv.
Ok, that's freakin ugly. I think it's a MAJOR step down from the original. Looks more like an "all-in-one media device" rather than a console, which I think is stupid. I was hoping that Microsoft would make it look similar to the DC, kind of like Yakumo's avatar. -_-
I quite like the look of it - I just hope they don't price themselves out of the market - sub £200 is good with me
what about that webcam? it is to counter sony's eyetoy? and am i the only one who see a feed based cd ''tray''? maybe i just need glasses. and i want to see perfect dark zero screens!
my guess is a price between £200 and £279.99 ..... not nice, although im going to have to fork it out!
i like it (am i the only one?) @cahaz: it's a tray. you can see it better in the other xbox 360 thread here.
A remote pad with no power-on button for the console. This lazy person is unimpressed. And is it compatable with Xbox games or what?
