Is that a proto slim? Do all slim XDKs have 1gb RAM? Is it possible to use a phat sidecar in a slim XDK?
No that's awesome. It may not be as many, but quality over quantity I always say. I would love to get that XNA and PS3 Test Kit if you're ever up for a trade.
The prototype Slims do not have the 1gb RAM, only the final. As far as an older sidecar on the slim, I saw pics at one point (can't remember where) of someone who had done it with a prototype slim. As for the final I doubt it since basically the bottom layer daughterboard of the older sidecar is practically built inside the final slim XDK. I don't think it could connect in the same way.
I will be sure to hit ya up if i every feel like trading wanted to ask you something about that halo kit i hear alot of talk about people saying there fake (i am not saying yours is fake) and that they don't exist is that just jealous people ? looks great i was going to get one from shark last year but didn't have the money at the time so ended up getting a slim proto wish i did now cause ya dont see them any where
I have a friend who was working for Bungie at the time of the Halo 3 development. He since left soon after Halo Reach was started. I asked him when I saw the Youtube video I mentioned earlier in this thread. His stance on it was that as far as he knew there was never a specialty XDK ever made for them. He says the only kits they ever used was black with grey sidecar. Bungie is a pretty open workspace and he thinks that if they were ever made, it would have been for the higher ups, but even then there would be general knowledge of their existence which he was not aware of. Due to his opinion on this topic, I feel this is a TTG Shark one. But since I do not know the true history of this item, I guess I will never know for sure.
No, not what so ever. He is a very good seller from my understanding. I never dealt with him personally, but I hear good things.
Upon popular request, more pics of the motherboard. As you'll see this is not a Trinity, but a Corona. I believe it to be a prototype seeing as it has the additional headers and pinouts. Despite my best attempts, I have been unable to get a clear shot of the surface mount LEDs on the motherboard, but it has green in typical places and a flashing yellow near the front between the power button and the disc drive.
You are thinking of EUFO. He did in fact get a phat sidecar to work on a prototype slim a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6WvnfZOcOo http://i.imgur.com/FDBi8G2.png
Thanks. I have a few more things I bought recently I still need to take pics of and upload later in the week.
Again, to show a bit of diversity, here over the last few months I have been building up a respectable PlayStation Development collection. It in no way is complete nor am I done building onto it. But for the time being, here are four kits.
