Well I do have a few Phat's in the marketplace right now and one slim Phat: http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...hat-Kits-for-Sale-Demo-Stress-Test-and-an-XNA Slim: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?51145-Xbox-Development-Kit-Slim-Prototype-in-US
Alright, so here are the newest kits. I have had the white/clear slim for a while but had to get a replacement white faceplate because the one that it had when I purchased it was cracked and had a pretty noticeable black gauge above the power button. So here are four new kits I have not shown before having gotten two of them just today. First up is the clear/white slim that is often referred to as the "Engineering Sample". When I bought it I was skeptical it wasn't just an RGH, but after opening it up and finding no modifications to the motherboard, I knew it was something strange. There are no dev kit headers or pinouts like I have seen on others, nothing different than a retail console. But, it will only play dev builds on discs, CAN take a remote/disc recovery and does not have any modifications to the motherboard at all. I will adding an unlisted video off my YouTube channel by the same name to show the dashboard and the strange boot + eject sounds. Next is a very rare "reviewer" kit. This is a Xenon that predates the 360 launch. It's a black kit that came with "platinum" ends and a 20gb HDD. These were used for media and such to test a build that would come on a disc with the kit. These were supposed to be returned after the review was complete. This one somehow got into the wild. They aren't easy to come by. This one came with an official recovery disc and it's warranty seal is intact.
Next are two kits I got together. Both came with boxes, but one was in better shape than the other so I am only showing the better of the two boxes. Kits are great though. The first one is a white Zephyr Test kit with sidecar in the box. Strange thing is it's been officially repaired from the label which neglects to mention its an XDK which I always was led to believe was always on the rear of sidecar'd kits, I stand corrected. The serial number matches the USB slot and what is displayed on the retail dash. It's also has it's warranty seal intact. Lastly is the oddest kit of all, yeah stranger than these others. This blows my mind because it goes against what I have seen and know first hand along with anything I have ever been told or heard. This can only be categorized as a Jasper prototype demo kit. From my understanding, which is pretty good, demo kits are always in white with chrome bezel and eject with the only kits in black are development kits or reviewer kits (slim being an exception). However here is a sealed what appears as a retail elite, but it's a jasper XDK inside. The seal is untampered with and intact. There is a flashing yellow surface mount led at the top which in the past has designated the kit as a prototype. The eject and bezel in every other situation should be black but it's chrome. There is no additional label such as the "Demo" kits and "Reviewer" kits have on the back. No "XDK" anywhere on the kit. The only thing I could find different is the top and bottom plates are shiny and not matte like the elites are. I took comparative pics of an elite and this "demo" kit. You can see the light from the above lamp shining in the kits accents but not on the elite. Check them out for yourself. (Elite on left, demo kit on right) (Yellow internal led)
Fucking beautiful man! That white engineering sample 360 S sounds like my TV dinner is ready. ;D My guess with the demo Jasper is that it was meaning to be used in public view, maybe even in Microsoft stores with demos who knows. My best guess anyway. Love all these kits!
That is a good guess, that sounds more plausible than a random black demo kit. It probably was something along those lines or at a trade show (E3,PAX. Etc).
Love everything about the collection! Especially the new additions are just fantastic being how each has its own unique history of what they were used for. Just awesome man keep it up.
A few of my 2013 Xbox Launch Team items. There is plenty more to come, just need to make time to take pics and upload. A few more Xbox One along with 2001 and 2005 Launch Team items very soon.
I just saw the completed listing for that glass cube on Ebay and now there it is! Congrats! Its looks beautiful! (The patch looks kinda ugly though, lol)
The patch is the same logo/emblem that Launch Team members have on their gamertags when viewed on an Xbox One, so it's sort of neat. The glass cube is beautiful. I had to nab it when I could.
oh man, the boxed controller pricing is bound to soar in the next few years!!!! I am guessing that you are never ever going to use it. The titanfall controller looks good too.
As much as I did was pop batteries in it and synced it to my Xbox One to ensure it works okay. The whole controller has a rubbery feeling on it. If anyone has the Xbox One media remote control it has the same rubberized feel as that does.
I not sure if the this console below is legit? Pricing is higher than expected otherwise I could have bought it. perhaps XboxSurgeon could comment? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Console-XBO...onsoles_VideoGameConsoles&hash=item338f26363e
I believe it to be real with the original HDD plate removed and the generic retail replaced. Most had either "22nd November 2005" and a swirl or the developer's personal gamertag engraved. So when they are sold off, the gamertag ones are almost always pulled off and then the new buyer puts on a retail "HDD" one and will attempt to resell, or the launch team member is selling their own doing the same. The green hue looks legit, same with controller. The "I Made This" faceplate is a nice addition which came separately with the console. Fact is I sold my original one and another I bought and turned for $3000 USD each about 4 years ago. So seeing as the prices have plummeted, it's actually a fair price.
That controller is drool-worthy... Not sure they did the best job with the badge though I agree with MoonTar. Nice addition to the collection all the same.
That is pretty cool. I have yet to play on an Xbox One though so I am not sure exactly what that means. When I buy one I'll have to find a Launch Team member so I can see. The Xbox One I have now I don't want to play on. Haha.
