Not so much of a bad glitch as it's funny. Game is Kameo: Elements of Power Beta for original Xbox. The glitched object here is supposed to be a plant of some sort I think.
I still shiver at the thought of US Final Fantasy III hanging in the end credits after 3 minutes (the part where Gogo plunders into darkness iirc) on my PAL SNES with FX Converter. Well, at least I wasn't bugged midway in the game like others, supposedly. Or the instability of the first SNES Action Replay, wiping all your save games >_< And once I had an exclusive moment in Secret of Mana where I was running around, but I was going to fast around the corner for my 2 party members, walking down a step I couldn't get back on, trapping my party members on the other side of the wall. Reset :/ Not really a glitch, but it was a REALLY bad moment for me to reset the game, and I just couldn't believe that that just happened to me ^^
Okay, anyone who's tried to do the extra stuff in parasite eve should know about the sinister warehouse on day 5. Just as I somehow beat the last set of enemies on my out of the warehouse I waited for the system to load the next area in the warehouse, I waited for about 10 minuets before I got tired and went to hit the power. It took me 2 hours just to kill the 2 sets of spiders and rats and get out of there and then the game has to crash when I do it...
I had a glitch occur on Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. It was back when I was still a kid, with a PAL snes and PAL cartridge. I was up on death mountain, on the top left corner (at the top of those long steps) and I think I dashed or something, hit the wall, and bounced out onto the clouds. It was weird because you swam in the clouds and walked on the sky lol. Lasted for about 15 minutes and then it froze. I remember I wanted to show my dad when he got home from work, but it crashed about 5 minutes before he got in lol. I was so gutted.
My friend and I encountered a glitch when we were playing Killer Instinct for the SNES the other day. It might have been a glitch, or maybe it's just how the game is programmed, I'm not sure. We were having a 2-player match, and we were both very low on health, and we hit each other at exactly the same moment. We both went into that mode (I don't know what it's called) where the character is paralyzed and just sits there while the other player is able to attack them. However, we were both in this state, so neither of us could do anything. We just stayed like that for a few seconds, and then I won. It would appear that we were both completely out of health, but for some reason I won. My friend (who used to own KI and got very good at it) said he'd never seen that happen before.
i loved the game 'advent rising' but WOW, was it buggy as HELL! (for xbox original) you had to be careful where you saved or you was stuck. what's worse, if you're not in the loop, EXPECT never to complete the game. ... only way i finished it was search for a workaround as it's TOO easy to activate the glitches by accident, shame really. one of the best games in existence, but it's bugs RUIN it for a second playthrough. :X (the first clip i actually activate ENDLESSLY until i found an online game guide) advent rising - glitch playlist [edit] typo
I got stuck in one of the caves too in Secret of Mana, however I remember getting unstuck by switching to the other players and moving around. Took a while
Just last time i was playing Batman Arkham Origins on t he Wii U , i had the game 80 % complete already then i got stuck in some room with a train , turns out it was an known bug in the game and it corrupted my save game , had to start al over!! GRRRR
The power going out while I was playing Spider-Man on N64 at the last second or two of the Monster-Ock level (final level)!!!!! I beat it as soon as the power came back but I mean come on!!!!!
Oh no, while out looking for the final barn find I fell right through the playing area! It seems that there is an invisible building or obstacle in the same area too which you can see as my car tries to drive forward but seems to be stuck on something. I was running the Nightfall Strike on Destiny about a week ago, almost finished soloing the entire thing. Then the game glitched me through a wall. There are no respawns in the Nightfall, just resets.
I was playing borderlands 2 and trying to climb under a building structure when I suddenly fell though the floor. I fell for ages, wasn't even sure if the game was going to reset me or not? I saw the respawn area on my way down, which was pretty interesting.
Metroid Prime Hunters for DS. I reached a certain room, a dessertic rocky open area with some columns of rock. There was a boss, which I successfully defeated. As you'd guess, when you kill bosses, doors get unlocked, items are awarded, and such... Nothing happened. I kept playing, soon to realize I could no longer progress in the game. I kept going everywhere for days, even weeks, until I just gave up and went for a game guide, just to discover that in the aforementioned room, the defeat of the boss was supposed to unlock the door and that I wasn't missing any key item or anything from some other part of the game. My conclusion was that I had tripped over some bug that messed that up. The worst part of this is that if you save after that, as a result of the bug, the game save will keep the state of the boss having been killed, but the door will still be locked with no way to unlock it. It was the first time I had ran into such a game breaking bug, and really, I didn't even like the game that much, but I'm was a sucker for FPSs ever since GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark, so I went for it.
Just playing conkers bad fur day yesterday and was at the end of war and I died at the split second that it cuts to the final cutscene for the level, the cutscene didn't play and sent me out the level as if I'd finished the level, when I go out the doors instead of opening sideways they just slowly float into the sky and I can't trigger any cutscene so I can't reach the final matrix level, doesn't even help if I reset it, gutted!
