Looks like almost every other Furry art I've ever seen: Gay as all getout

I bet before long he'll be drawing furry porn, if he's not doing it already.

Actually, follow what you feel. Money isn't everything.
You should make something and then bring ot to tokyopop,
    traditional us companies suck.

    Hey Now,

First off he's a huge sonic fan so that's his main source of insparation. second, I think it's amazing that at his age he's drawing something of such a high quality and Thirdly HE IS a furry yes but he doesn't jerk off to furry porn.

It might not be totally unique but he works really hard at it. YES I am weirded out by furries, especally the ones that have sex in furry suits but he's, pretty normal otherwise. Just becuase YOU personally don't like furry art, doesn't mean it sucks. Hey I have the street fighter tribute book and there are a TON of drawings in it I don't like but I still respect the artists that took the time to reinvison the Street Fighter characters. I highly recomend the book too by the way it's really amazing.

if my stuff and his stuff take off we might just start our own company. But it's a Pipe Dream really.

I find it at once deeply disturbing and highly amusing that you know this much about the masturbatory habits of a 17-year-old furry. Anyway, he's clearly got potential as an artist, he just needs to haul his ass out of the deviant quagmire of fetishised anthropomorphism before it's too late.

It takes a tremendous amount of self-delusion to be a furry.

I know because I asked him out of concern, becuase if he did, he would need help. But I see no harm in him drawing Anthro Characters. Hopefully him playing Okami might inspire him to try something else with animals.

There's a bit of an unfair stigma around furries BUT I also don't know exactly WHAT a furry is, somebody who likes anthros or somebody who dresses up in suits (and in some cases has sex in them)

He says it's the former not the latter. I'm not so sure.

But none the less I DO NOT see any harm in him drawing Anthromorphic charcters.

One of my favorite Cartoons of all time starred an Anthro Mouse.
Few can deny the awesome that was Danger Mouse.

Furry forums make for excellent comedy. Some of these people are that fucking lost in their own little make-believe world that they actually, genuinely start thinking that they have a "spirit creature", usually something elegant like a fox, or a wolf. Then they ascribe all the associated characteristics to themselves. Then they dress up in suits and simulate sexual acts. Apparently it isn't obvious to these people that what they're engaged in is completely fucking nuts.

There's a common thread I notice among mad fringe groups, whether it's furries or neo-nazi scholars or tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists or whatever, and it's that all their members seem to be awkward loners who've never managed to really fit into society, so they latch onto this one thing that keeps them going and allows them to find identity. They lock themselves away in little groups or internet forums and incubate whatever their shared madness is. Out the other end come men in fluffy animal suits pretending to fuck each other, holocaust denial, and lizard men ruling the world, respectively. You can't reason with these people, they've long since abandoned their grasp on social reality - although in each case, it's the rest of the world that's mad, rather than them.

So yeah. Keep that lad away from the Goddamn furries.

Oh god...my friend's sister and her boyfriend, I swear to god there furries. The thing is my bud has no idea what the hell that is, so he just thought they like anime or something. They have got to be furries. Very scary in person.

I've never seen a furry outside of the internet. Most of them seem to be like 13 years old mentally. The DA pages make me wonder sometimes at the age of the people drawing the pics. There was a funny ass pic posted as a troll on another forum made by furries that explained what type of animal you were based on your social life, etc: I think I remember seeing that Nerd = Turtle. The person who made it was serious...

Now if a couple have a fetish of wearing furry suits while they're having sex, I suppose I don't have a problem with it. I mean its behind closed doors. But if they actually think they are a Fox or whatever, and act like they do on their furry forums in real life, and talk about their sex life in public, all they're doing is making themselves look like lunatics.

As for those pictures go, GoH, I'm sorry for the way I responded, but seriously: That looks like every other Furry pic I've ever seen, almost. I didn't expect it to look so Sonic-y. I don't really even see why people find Sonic style characters attractive, but I know its popular. My guess is that its nostalgia goggles being worn by kids now grown up who thought Sally was "SO HOT" back in 1994 or whatever. I haven't played the recent Sonic games (Never touched the DC game, even) so maybe some new people joined in becuause of that, but still.

    Apology accepted.

Tim is pretty well adjusted. I don't think he's a furry he says he is but he's too normal to be one. Well as normal as an isolated Home Schooled kid can be (home schooled by choice not becuase his parents are insane religious nuts) Now he'd say we're wrong about what furries are. I guess it's probably best I KEEP HIM AWAY from Furries, I mean It's bad enough his best friend is me right?

Funny how for once a thread about me......turns out to not be about me at all.

So what's the best way to defurry my buddy here? Tie him to a chair and make him play bubsy 3d until he is thrown into convulsions?
I know if I were a furry and I was subject to Bubsy I'd never want to see another Anthromorphic animal ever again.
Oh also equally disturbing is that he actually cares about the story lines in Sonic games.
    Actually, THAT IS VERY DISTURBING

    He doesn't wear the suits.

and His parent's are not ARE NOT Religious nuts. They're christians I go to church with them. But they're pretty normal everyday people. I'm very Close to the whole family actually.

His sister draws anthros as well. and also cares about sonic storylines and she's pretty normal.

Furries were created by Somethingawful.com for us to poke fun at. They don't exist, sadly, although people now believe that they do....

But the World IS run by 4th dimensional reptiles! I saw one of them hanging out with Bigfoot and hat-man.

You know what's funny? I used listen to Coast to Coast am alot, I'm like addicted to that show. But one night I had a nightmare where I was abducted by aliens (relax, I know it was a nightmare, it wasn't real, etc.) It was disturbing though in the way that I violently shook my own head and then woke up.

About the whole furry/anthro/fursona thing - strange as it may seem to us normal people, there is a market out there for this kind of thing. If one can keep the freakish sexual innuendos out of it. Seems to me that more young women in the 16 - 25 age range seem to be into it then men, which is strange for a fetish.

Ignoring that you then said his parents aren't insane religious nuts, it just sounds like he needs more exposure to real people.

Some else pointed out to me "it's that bit in Disney's Sword of the Stone with the squirrels, man. Fucked up an entire generation of overly impressionable, sexually developing youngsters." I wasn't convinced, then watched it again on youtube or whatever, and yeah, when you look at it from that angle... he may be onto something. Freaks my shit out just thinking about it, how differently two people can take the same piece of animation.

Hey, my three favorite Disney films just happen to be Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, and The Emperor's New Groove. They all happen to have anthro characters...and I never realized that until now. OH GOD IS I A FURBY?!

HA! I WAS RIGHT! HE WAS DRAWING PORN!

Man, I find it sad how his DA page looks almost like a carbon copy of everyone elses furry page, too. Most of the pages Ive been to I've seen when people link to them on 4chan, BTW.
