Am I alone in saying Peggy Hill is one of the most obnoxious characters ever? She's so dumb and always makes stupid choices and I just can't stand her. Every time she talks I wish Hank would just douse her in propane and have John Redcorn light on fire with one of his peace pipes. Ugh.

 

I hate that entire show because the whole cast is obnoxious. Kahn is the only one I don't want to give the "Steve Buscehemi Fargo" treatment" to.

 

I can never tell when the characters say something funny or not. The show just kind of blends together into one long droning, grinding, experience.

 

I think KOTH has bested other animated shows. It's been on forever and still manages to be pretty funny/entertaining.

 

yeah, i know what you mean. it kinda is like that sometimes. other times the show can be super funny. it just depends on your sense of humor. i didn't even realize that they're still doing new episodes and stuff.

 

I liked the episode where Hank finds a bunch of D&D / Satanist players and Hanks like "How old are you, 30? 40?" and the head "Wizard" guy was like "HAHAHA NOT EVEN CLOSE! I AM FOUR THOUUUSAAAAND"

BTW, GoH, are you serious about Kahn not being obnoxious? Can you explain why? Even though a lot of his neighbors aren't white trash, he calls them Rednecks and white trash anyway, and he thinks he's better than everyone on his block, etc, etc. Personally I think he's one of THE most obnoxious characters on the show, but Bobby's mental retardism, at least in some episodes, rivaled Kahn's super obnoxiousness.

So, what is it about Kahn that you like? Its not something like "HE IS TEH ASIAN SO HE IS TEH COOL" is it?

 

The first two series are funny as fuck. After that it gets patchy. I'd have to say, though, anyone who says "all the cast are obnoxious therefore it's a shit show" is completely missing the satirical nature of it.

 

What's funny, being from Texas, is the show isn't TOO far off. It portrays the "look" of typical Texans to a tee. The accents aren't too far off, but there are so many just in Texas that it's hard to say it's done right. Too many shows try to stereotype, this one however doesn't do it too much. Thank God Mike Judge is a Texan. Peggy can be annoying, that's her character. I much rather dislike Luanne though, UGH!

Bill is still my favorite though

 

Kahn says what I'm thinking most of the time. Most of the King of the Hill Cast just come off as idiots. Kahn doesn't

I don't really like Bobby that much either, I don't know why, but everything about him screams "Future Japanophile"

And he's like 13 years old and has Troll dolls. I don't know if they've ever done an episode about this, but he acts and sounds like a high functioning autistic as well. He says the MOST retarded crap and does the MOST retarded crap in the show.

I don't know, he's just dumb. He seems like the type who'd get infatuated with Japan for very little reason. I guess for that matter anything, like D&D. I remember in one episode he bought an $80 D&D book and joined a cult.

I guess Bobby is some weird amalgam of every kid in the US, and thats why he comes off as a weird retarded idiot.

 

Bobby is the anthisis of what Bevis and Butthead were. Those two.....I don't even know what they are.

That show was only funny when they watched Music Videos. figures the BEST PART of the show is cut out of the DVDs.

The same applies to the Beavis and Butthead comments. I just don't understand how so many people here can watch these shows and not "get it". God knows what they think when they watch South Park or Family Guy.

King of the Hill= I want my half hour back.

Bevis and Butthead= They're idiots, I get it.....but this isn't funny.......make fun of more music videos PLZ.
