Are you buying the PS4 and Xbox One?

And here I thought people on this forum would know why static hardware is better than any PC but meh to each their own :/
anywho I will get a PS4 when Destiny is released and a used XBO eventually for collection purposes

 

Had PS4 pre-ordered but cancelled it just the other day because there's just nothing I want for it. I'll pick one up once there's a non-fps game that looks interesting is released (tired of shooters).

 

I'm going to wait firstly because the 360 still has a lot of life in it and secondly because I'm going to wait until sony copies the impulse triggers from the xbone xD

Ive liked xboxes from the beginning but the "One" doesn't seem to tick the boxes for me, I like the controller but that's it...likewise with the ps4, I like the console but not the controller! Am I alone in this thinking?

 

Did you try both controllers? Most media saying DS4 is better.

I won't be getting either one at launch, though my current standing is to get the PS4 first after Microsoft's initial restrictions and backpedaling. Neither console are screaming "buy me" at this stage, which is a shame. I'm just not feeling that anticipation for launch as I had with past generations. Also, a few XBOX Ones have accidentally shipped early http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/9/5083780/xbox-one-early-pre-order-deliveries . I think that temporary XBL ban on them is BS.

 

Gonna skip the PS4 hype and buy a Framemeister instead. Probably buy a sexy white finish PS4 in 2015 for Cyberpunk and the next Red Dead.

 

I gave my PS4 Pre Order to my sister for my nephews xmas, but I will pick one up for FF XV

 

I'm not buying any of them. I've got enough distractions in my life as it is. But in a different situation I'd buy me a softmodded PS3 with linux now and then wait and see which one of the new consoles got the best exploits and get that one.

Wont be getting either, as I have a PC that kicks ass on both in performance (60fps) and graphics presentation on any latest Dx11 game at maxed settings @1080P gaming and can always keep upgrading it if I want.

The only good thing is maybe certain exclusives on both systems, yet at launch and their early life stages its just shitty ports that look no different from the last generation of consoles.

I'm sticking to retro consoles and PC but if I did want a new console I'd go for the PS4, if my arm was twisted.

 

I have pre ordered a PS4 with CoD Ghosts as this gen I was with PS3 I don't want to lose my friends list and trophies + PS4 is better anyway more powerfull and less restrictions.
Nintendo Wii was the last console I bought from Nintendo I played it for about 2 weeks and never touched it again what a waste of money that was, just a gamecube with motion controlls, it's like Nintendo are always 1 generation behind these days.
Check out some youtube videos CoD Ghosts for the Wii U on release day had only 409 people playing online.

 

Actually i will not buying any of these consoles.
I will not console that needs an internet connection to activate and the controller of the PlaySation 4 looks verry.. "interesting".

actually, both require a day one firmware update to install numerous functions, the ps4 doesnt even play bluray movies out of the box.

These are coming in incredibly hot, so I'm just going to wait a year anyways when better games are out.

 

Johnny Vodka, PS4 can play games without update. Xbox One can not do anything.

 

Never bought a console at launch. Always overpriced around here, not much games to make it worth it, plus the worry about it being cheaply made.

 

I've preordered a PS4 on Amazon and I already have two games for it (Killzone and Knack) that I found it here in Brazil. I can't wait for next gen.

These last few months I played more retro games than current ones, I may be tired of this gen. I don't think the 360 will have any significant release in the near future (besides the multi plat stuff). On the other hand the PS3 will have GT6.

 

I plan on picking up a ps4 within the next year or so, then the xbone several years later once there are enough exclusives.

 

PS4 in about a year while the library grows PS3 games dry up and any Kinks are worked out, As it stands Only an idiot or non gamer would want an XBOX one. The XBOX one is NOT a gaming machine it's an everything else machine that plays MEH games.
