Alien Storm! Really enjoyed this game on the arcades back in the day, to the point i asked my parents to buy the Master System version.

Another great video Yakumo! Love watching all differences.

What do you guys think of the new style "versions featured" screen where I have used screen grabs from each version? Better than the old list I used to do or too distracting?

I think it's great, specially since it's the title screen. Also liked that since the Power Drift battle of ports, you started identifying each port with the official logo for each console / computer.

I was thinking that the logos are a little small. Do you think larger ones would be better?

First off another great video, i never knew this came out for c64 im going to give that a whirl.

And secondly, I think the logos are just right, no reason to bomb in game footage with a over sized logo imo, and the top left is almost always the best place to put them, and not too distracting. The best move you made was having the subs at the bottom, when you first started the series me and my fiancee agreed it is hard to watch the video and read at the same time when they are on top, it may be different from person to person but we like to look up at a home display at least a head size higher than our viewing area especially in the bed room and on reclined couches or chair, this gets rid of the need to hunch which causes back and neck pain.

Now that I put the subtitles at the bottom I also agree with you. They're much easier to read down there than when they were on the top.

I think they are fine and their position on the top left is perfect. I watched all episodes again on my TV last night. Really like this show!

One suggestion is to add a # to after each episode (including the old ones), to help organize them as time goes by. May i also suggest some future Battle of the Ports? After Burner / After Burner II? E-Swat? Alien Syndrome? Shinobi? Shadow Dancer?

I have seen a speed run of shadow dancer for the GENESIS/MEGADRIVE on hardest and it's acquired my attention.

Thanks for the input guys. I will star adding nubers to the shows to keep them in order and I would sure love to do all the above mentioned games and will do in the future :)

The next show is now being put together and yet again another Sega title :p I really need to get away from Sega for the next show after the one I'm making now. This next one is another request by the way :)

What about metal slug for a battle of the ports :p That could have potential. Since it is on Neo Geo, NG CD, saturn, playstation, ps2(I think it was in a collection).

Too much work a SD far as emulation is concerned for the PS2. If someone would buy me the collection though I'd be more than happy. I own the Saturn version however.

Doesn't seem that interesting considering how many of the versions are just straight up emulated.

Very good point. I try to keep away from emulation because after all its just the same code as the arcade game but running on another system well or in many cases, not well. Saturn Metal Slug would be valid as it's a reprogrammed version of the game as would be the Neo Geo pocket versions and that knockoff Game Boy colour version. But the Wii, PSP, PS2 and Xbox live versions are just emulation.

Thank you very much for the offer. Maybe in a future episode you could help me out with some PS2 footage. It would have to be recorded at a high bitrate and in 720p at least though.

Virtua Fighter 2! The Saturn version still is such an amazing port. Shame the PS2 isn't that good.

Congrats on yet another amazing video!

Awesome. What about the Power Drift episode? By the way, I watched the Galaxy Force II episode recently. It was a good episode. The Saturn version looks pretty cool, but the fact that it runs at a lower framerate is unfortunate. I'm looking forward to the VF2 episode.
