Never know if they just think any foreigners are somehow gonna make their life better and they just want to mooch off of you. Hard reality, but I bet something like that happens to lots of guys who then start going into bliss about having a looker, not really knowing the girl could give less than two shits for the guy himself.

Or I'm cynical and only expect the worst of people..

I'm an ugly aussie bloke and I am wondering If newzealanders sound much different when they speak japanese?
coz if not I just found a way to springboard right up the list as soon as i learn japanese that is coz i thought about this lots of times but i didnt know it was in fact possible to attain my mech body in reality

my spoken english is lazy enough but my typing english suffers from EXTREME lazyness and is almost devoid of grammer

 

The richer you are, the higher the chances of dating. (6 million yen and above grants you a girlfriend, 500k or less grants you nothing).

 

From my experience, you'll get the high school girls commenting on you, but if you lack the language skills, you might as well say bye-bye.

Japanese skill helps a lot to keep away english-speaking-gaijin-whores and you can get the non-english-speaking-cute ones, even you are a pork.

Money buys almost everything.. not just in japan i suppose..
as they say.. basically everybody hates everybody they aren't..
but money sure can change a LOT of things..
In my profession (im in investment consultancy), I've met too many mediocre faced (if not ugly) high net worth people who pretty much can get any girl they want, it's so unfair
come to speak of it, many HNW i met are either asian, chinese or middle eastern origin.. i suppose economy really have shifted..
