PROTIP: Most people don't know what they really want. (you have to be fairly experienced before you get to that point and for most, it's too late, I'm sure you can find a bunch of married housewives who want true love lol)

The odd thing is, I don't share my e-mail adress with anyone else, how do I keep getting these pieces of trash once in a while? I also report and block sender, but it's no use...
Oh, and before ya ask, nah, I didn't click the photo ;)

After reading some of the comments posted here and realizing that JP women probably aren't really that different from western ones, I start to think that all the J/K-dramas, anime and such, really do influence the male genre in a certain way. They show us what we want to see, the perfect innocent and cute girl model. However that's not right, but they do that because they know how to get money from the otaku audience, hence all men around the globe.
In conclusion... women are just some kind of specie that will never be what we would expect. We're basically doomed to being their puppets.
    Any thoughts?

Well, now I gotta go watch some j-drama and play some love-sims, laterz!

Lol, joking, I'm gonna get some sleep with my anime pillow, yayzzzzz!

    P.S. Ups, I didn't get one myself yet ^^''

    Indeed. It's a wife.

Bullshit (for the most part). The culture here is still kinda slow in them being a power house in the work place, and until it is, this is going to have an effect on the social aspect.

So, they really do are different? I'm getting confused.
I always had this dream of traveling to JP and date a JP chick:love2:. Is it worth living in Japan or are you guys tired of your everyday life along with your wifes?
If you were younger, would you do it again? I mean, would you give up on everything and just to go there to live the "dream"?

the lady that i met here in Singapore. i would say shes nt those drop dead gorgous with huge boobs kinda that u will see. Shes just pleasant looking. Ultra traditional family. i sat thru their family tea session or whatever u call that. :) i just thought they are super attentive to their boyfriend. maybe that gave me a lasting memory.. up to 3-4 yrs back i still receive letters from her.. but well.. good memories ~

You see im an asian. And we always potrayed Japan as some very high quality producing country. For example people here would rather buy a Japanese car then a korea car for this perception.

Wouldn't anyone? Korean cars are cheap shit for the most part. Yeah, there are cheap Japanese cars too but at least they are reliable. Now Chinese cars? God, I wouldn't even drive one of those things, never mind buy one.

The culture is very different: I think just about anyone can agree on that. When the culture is different, people's behavior is different, plain and simple. So, yes, men and women alike behave quite differently in relationships. Obviously can't say "bad" or "good" for everyone, but there's some getting used to.

Good question. :) I'd probably do it quite similarly... when I get married, I had Japan long-term on the horizon. If for some reason I became single now, I would probably not pursue a serious relationship with a local as my long-term geographical location is in question, and I'd see a tag-along as luggage.

if this list is accurate, it's staggering how many of these Chinese logos look totally stolen from other companies.

    http://www.chinacarforums.com/chinese_car_manufacturers.html

    A few that I recognize:

BYD Auto - looks a lot like BMW
    Chang'an - Star Trek?
Dadi - Mercedes maybe but kind of a stretch.
    Haima - Mazda
Hafei Motor - looks like part of it is "inspired" by the Subaru logo.
    Huatai - Windows logo?
    Chang Feng Motor - Quicksilver
    Shuanghuan Auto - Stride gum!!
TianQI Meiya Auto - Holiday Inn logo maybe?

lol. the chinese are awesome. or maybe i'm just crazy.

I assume Chinese and other asian's would end up pretty low on the social ladder too?

I found it easier to date Japanese girls in the countryside because they don't want to be seen with a foreigner. Since I blend in quite well, they never really hesitated. Being fluent in Japanese didn't hurt either.

I disagree. Most of my friends who date foreigners are dating non-Japanese Asians. Could be rare, but that is the norm in my circle. They often say "The look and feel of a Japanese man, without being a Japanese man"

I was referring to life in general, an statistically. Not in the dating world.
Then again, plenty of Chinese & Koreans working in shops in my neighborhood.
