Here you go, Yak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL17RisBB1I mind all the random the cuts at the end. I thought I was deleting old clips that were longer than 20 seconds, but that's aparently not the case.

True but you don't want to be driving around in a shit box now, do you?

I agree. In Japan people buy little shitty box cars then add God awful body kits which make them look even more stupid and annoying.

I have to disagree on this one. Depending upon where you live the speed limits can be a sensible and reasonable limit like in the UK for the most part or just plain outright stupidly low and have no connection to the actual road you are driving on like here in Japan. I take a dual (sometimes 3 lanes) carriage way to work every day which has the pathetic speed limit of 50kmph. The road is massive! I drive 80kmph on it as do many others. then I come off that on to a single lane road in a residential area that has pavements (sidewalks) and yet the speed limit is still 50kmph! WTF are the Japanese government thinking? 50kmph on a road that is worthy of at least a 80kmph limit and a 50kmph limit on a road that should be about 40 IMO. Needless to say I never keep the speed limit in Japan. It's just retarded. Saying that I don't drive like an arse hole either. I always give way, space myself accordingly to the car in front and never rev right behind another car unless they are driving so slow it's pitterful (much lower than the speed limit.) like some idiot on the motorway the other week doing 40kmph in the fast lane I shit you not. No matter how much I beeped him or flashed my high beams the twat wouldn't move. Those sort of people are a danger to other drivers.

try telling that to 90% of Japanese drivers. I was looking at a sweet custom painted Evo 10 the others day all done out in rally vinyl stickers. I take a look inside and it was a bloody automatic! Why on earth would someone with such a passion for a rally looking car want an automatic? Obviously someone without a clue who just wanted to look cool.

Nice, I'll take a look when I get home tonight.

Yeah, every time I see an abomination of an automatic in an excellent car, I have to say to myself "I'm going to ASSUME this person is missing either an arm or a leg."

Took a look at the video. Wow, it sure is spead out in the states. Nothing at all like here. When I first came to Japan I though thatthey were trying to be like the US with loads of shops and stuff spread out along the highway but in Japan they're always crampped in to one place unlike what your video shows.

Cool vid and we all get the chance to hear about your middle school

Haha what a crappy school, IMO. I remember the year after I left they banned kids from wearing all black... in a public school! Silly.

Yeah, everything is pretty spread-out here. Downtown is definitely more cramped, but that comes with the old territory and layout. Everything here is set in 1-mile squares (well, permitted by geography) except there.
Overall, I'm sure this city/this state isn't a good representation of the country. Heh.

    Oh come on, guys!

    Audi R8!

That was about as close as I ever got, after picking up my phone and getting to the camera mode, though I'm probably a lot closer than it seems since the camera is so wide angle.

Well i'll need a new earthe ground strap for Maude now. went to check the connections and it snapped off right in my hand.

Oh well, the season is at a close now, it's getting hard to get an a-series to turn over under frost and -15 weather

My driving pleasure now will only come from GTR2 and a Logitech G25 for the next few months

An Audi R8? Man, I've seen a few of them as well. Just looks different in the picture. I've also seen aN Aston Martin DB9 on my way to work once. European cars are so expensive in Japan.

New video coming tonight. Just encoding it now. Well worth a look to see something beautiful! The upload FLV file will be 720x405 resolution to keep the original HD video aspect ratio.

There aren't any really high speeds in this movie though because the rain was so bad that at one point it was like driving through a waterfall. Really nasty rain plus high speed wind. However despite this the beautiful section is clearly viewable

People who complain about paddle shifting obviously haven't driven a SAAB.

My car is a normal manual shifter though, that's what I'm used to. Like previous posters, I can't for the life of me understand why a perfectly able person would want an automatic.

I see your video and raise you two cameras!

    :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD-FFCrD85o

(Awesome, by the way! Insane rain, my favorite! Except when you really REALLY REALLY cannot see anything, and you think, "I should pull over. But then someone will just run into the back of me...")

Cool vid. Love the mix between the different cameras. The front bumper cam is very well done. I bet that would really look cool at some high speeds!!

I dont know how I forgot to mention it, but give Vimeo a try. Really the best quality video out there, so long as its not game stuff (and its your own content). Shame they removed gaming content a while back.

I'm fine for video hosting to be honest (sorted it out with my provider) but I'm sure a few other people outthere are looking for a good place for hosting HD Quality video.
